    On 3/31/23, I booked an event for a birthday party for 08/26/2023 at 7pm for 6 hours with The event Spots. According to the Event Spots Website, in order to reserve an event, you have to pay $150 deposit after booking. After I paid the $150, I thought that my event was booked until I received a phone call the next day from a person who identified herself as the owner. This person was very rude and told me that my event was not booked because the date was already booked for someone else with a different name. She proceeded to tell me that my deposit was non refundable. I dont understand how she is going to keep the deposit when her website didnt book my event. I need my refund and she refused to give it back to me with no fault of my

    Hello, my name is *****************************, CEO of The Event Spot LLC.   Our website is theeventspotllc.com and it clearly states there are "NO REFUNDS".  We received the security deposit from *************************** on Saturday, 4/1/2023 at 12:25am. I logged into our system Saturday mornings, 4/12023 at 9am when the office open and called ****************** right away to thank her for the security deposit however, we did not receive a reservation which is under the "RESERVATION SECTION" on the website. I asked her to go back to the website to make the reservation so we can apply the deposit to her reservation and she became IRATE stating she did it.  Unfortunately, on our end we did receive the reservation so we had no way of knowing what type of event, time or date it was for.

    *************************** proceeded to get upset and I ask her why are you are upset as I am only asking you to go back onto the website and make the reservation to lock in your date.  She said I want a refund and I informed her there were no refunds as stated on the website.  After the phone call, I immediately called ********* back and stated as a courtesy, I would refund the $150 and for her to send her *******, as all money is not good money and I did not want to do business with her for something so minor. Please see the attached, I submitted payment to her on April 3, 2023 @ 6:58am.
