    On 12/4/2018 I bought two sets of bathroom brushed nickel faucets at the Huntingdon Valley S&H store. The salesperson was *************** was told they have lifetime guarantee. During the pandemic (either late 2020 or early 2021) I noticed that there were spots on them that wouldn't come off. I called the store to ask about cleaning them but they never returned the call. In January 2023 I went to S&H on Castor as the other store was no longer open. I showed the receipt and asked for the manufacturer (the name of product and manufacturer not on the invoice) to replace them. It took until May for ************ to tell me that manufacturer refused, but they would send a "finish" to be applied. After repeated calls and store visits, where they said only ************ could apply the finish, on November 2, 2023 ************ sent me a text with instructions for using *********** ******, which I had to buy, to clean the faucets. I did so, several times, and they still have spots that cannot be removed. I texted him to let him know it hadn't worked, and asked for the manufacturer and product name so I could contact the manufacturer, and he has never responded. I am appalled that after 11 months, he thinks that me cleaning the faucets with a common cleaning product is an appropriate solution. I am also appalled that he won't tell me the name of the manufacturer which I have requested on multiple occasions. He accused me in an earlier phone call of not cleaning them properly and I told him that all of the faucets in my house are brushed nickel and none of them have this problem.

    In August of this year, my wife & I ordered washers from Jim at S&H hardware. A deposit was required, which we gladly paid. We were informed they would be available in approximately 6 weeks. After not hearing from Jim, I called in early October, and was told by Jim that they will be here by Thursday. I called him on Friday and he assured me they would be in on Tuesday. I have called at least 5 times and been promised delivery to no avail. Jim just lies.. I will not do business with them and want my money refunded. Also, Andy the manager has promised to call but doesn’t .

    On 7-29-2022 I purchased a lock assembly from S&H Hardware. The lock assembly he gave me was in a ****** box that was dirty , dusty , torn and somewhat crushed. Clearly this box was in the building for many many years. I purchased the box knowing that if it was the wrong lock I could not return it because I was told thats the rules. I took the man at his word that it would fit. I got the assembly home and started to put together. It was clear that parts were missing. I took the lock back and showed the man some of the parts that were missing. He said that the parts were in there when I left and he called me a thief for trying to bring the lock back. We argued over the fact that he sold me a incomplete lock. The man refused again to take the lock back and said that if I ever return to his store he would have me arrested for trespassing . It is very clear to anyone who looked at the box the lock was in , that it was opened numerous times over the years, I doubt that it was for any reason other than to take parts from the box parts . This company is a disgrace to the customers who have to use their business .
