    Planet fitness has charged me ***** today, after I have attempted to call and cancel my membership. I am unable to go in-person for personal reasons. I signed up for my membership completely online, and should be able to cancel online. However, they have expressed no interest in helping me in this way, and have shown that they will continue charges.

    The complainant agreed to the terms and conditions of the attached membership agreement, including that the member could only cancel the agreement in person or by certified mail. Planet Fitness has no record of any calls or attempts by the Complainant to validly attempt to cancel their membership. Notwithstanding the terms and conditions of the Complainant's agreement, Planet Fitness has, as a courtesy, now cancelled the membership outside of our normal practice. 

    Additionally, Planet Fitness denies that the Complainant was ever actually charged throughout the duration of their membership. Per the attached invoice and payment histories, the complainant provided Planet Fitness with a bank account to process their monthly dues that, from the outset, had insufficient funds in it. As such, all attempts at withdrawing the Complainant's membership dues and late fees were unsuccessful. As such, Planet Fitness denies that the Complainant has been damaged in any way.

    As the no money was withdrawn from the Complainant's account and ********************** has cancelled their membership, we believe that no further action is necessary.
