    On October 28, 2021 I purchased a central air unit and heating system from " GRAY MECHANICAL" with a 10 year warranty on parts. On June 26, 2023 my central air unit started to make a strange noise so I called *********************** Plumbing and Air Unit service to inspect the unit on June 30, 2023. At the end of said inspection the service man found many discrepancies in performance and parts being missing in unit. I called "GRAY MECHANICAL" to speak to the manager, he informed me that "******** ELECTRIC" had purchased the company from "GRAY MECHANICAL" and that he would send out a repairman on July 3, 2023. Since than I have not been able to reach anyone on the phone to have my 10 year warranty on parts honored or receive a refund so I can get it repaired. I have been dealing with this heat wave since June. The only positive side to this problem is my mother is in ***** Rehab for a fall she suffered in June and she is not at home during this heat wave. Please HELP me resolve this manner. ***********************, Ret.

    On 4/26/22, ***** (***) **** and his son who are the owners of Gray Mechanical Inc. installed a new heating and cooling system in my house. I paid Gray Mechanical Inc. $6,800 for everything. I signed a 5-year contract that states Gray Mechanical Inc. will repair my heating & cooling system. On Friday, 12/23/22, the heating unit blew out cold air up until 12/24/22. I called Gray Mechanical Inc. at ###-###-#### and ###-###-#### on 12/23/22. My call went to a call center and a woman representative answered the phone. I asked was this Gray Mechanical Inc. and she said, “They are not Gray Mechanical. They are ******* Heating System that took over Gray Mechanical Inc”. The representative took my message about my non-working heater and said she will give my message to Dilling Heating & Cooling. I called back Gray Mechanical again on Saturday, 12/24/22 to have my heater fixed. A woman answered the phone and took my message. A male worker called me from Dilling Heating & Cooling the same day and said, “Gray Mechanical Inc. is no longer in service. He said James Gray who is the owner of Gray Mechanical Inc. moved to Florida. I told him I have a contract with James Gray and that’s not right. The rep said he will send someone to my house, but I have to pay for services because my contract with Gray Mechanical Inc. is no longer valid. On 12/25/22, the heating system stopped working. On Monday, 12/26/22 I called Dilling Heating & Cooling for help. They were closed for the holiday. ****** ****** from ******* Heating & Cooling came to my house on Tuesday morning 12/27/22. *** ****** looked at my electric box which was okay, my heating unit outside and my heater inside my house. *** ****** said, “Gray Mechanical Inc. installed two mix matched units from manufacturers ****** and *******. The wires from the heating unit outside is improperly installed, the unit is placed too close to my house and now the unit is not getting circulation which is not giving me heat in my home. *** ****** also stated that the unit outside may be too small or too big and it’s not supposed to be sitting on the ground. It needs to be lifted off the ground. The tubes connected to the furnace is not hot because the unit outside is not getting any circulation. The wires in my thermostat are improperly installed. *** ****** rewired the thermostat inside my house. I paid *** ****** for his diagnosis & services. Gray Mechanical Inc. made my wife, kids & I freeze since 12/23/22. We had to use a portable heater that heated up only one room and our oven to stay warm which only warmed up the kitchen. I want my heating & cooling system reinstalled properly or a refund from Gray Mechanical Inc. because they improperly & unlawfully installed my heater & cooling system.
