Mr. White and his company C&S Masonry were retained in August 2022 by ********** **** (HOA), a condominium association, via their management company *** *** Property and Realty Management (*** ***) to perform numerous tasks at the subject property, ** ********** ****** in Bala Cynwyd, PA. Mr. White and his company C&S Masonry were paid over $17,000.00 for services, the main one remaining not completed as he has abandoned this project, supplies, and equipment, and left the site a complete mess. This task item is related to the demolition and rebuilding of a patio wall. The patio wall was demolished in August or early September 2022 and the rebuilding of the patio wall took numerous weeks to reach what Mr. ******* White claimed to be 95% completion at which point he was paid the balance of the agreed upon project value. it is now March 2023. After numerous attempts to reach Mr. White via phone and/or text by *** *** and/or the HOA, Mr. White either never responded or proposed to finish the job that same week. He never showed up any of those times that he promised to come. Often he would claim illness and/or being too busy. Considering Covid-19 and other potential issues *** *** and the HOA was empathetic; however, this now seems to be a continuous lie. Not only is the project not completed but the owner of Unit * has not been able to use the patio since late summer 2022 and is still not able to do so. Because of the way the patio has been left, it is very possible that there is on-going damage from weathering and frost-wedging and the wall may need additional repairs. Estimates for job completion by other contractors is approximately $3,000-4,000. Without a quick resolution, litigation will be the only path forward.

I am a senior citizen and was scammed by Charles W**** the owner of White’s C&S Masonry & Home Restoration and Repair was referred to me as a reputable contractor by my hairstylist. He assessed the job to have my front door exchanged out for brand new security front door and security screen door. He quoted a price $375 for 2. the next morning I cash app him $1200 to buy the two doors I wanted from **** *****. He told me he would buy the doors and drop them at my house in the next couple of days. Five days later I had heard anything from him and I called to ask when he was coming by to start the job. He told me Saturday Saturday came and went with him not showing up at all. The next day he showed up and left in the middle of the job to go purchase the door at **** *****. when he came back he did not have the screen door saying that it was no longer in stock. When I gave him the money both doors were in stock. He returned bringing his 70 year old father with him and one. Helper and it took them almost 2 days to install one door and while doing that they destroyed my entrance covering it with fine red brick dust covering the front porch and also the neighbors front porch because they did not have the proper plastic or coverings to protect my home. They left the porch a mess my home filled with red dust and the neighbors patio also. I was upset about the neighbors having to track red brick dust into their home so the person who referred them to me Alisha she reached out and they came over the next day with power washers and clean the neighbors porch. They spent a few more hours Trying to install my door. I could tell they didn’t know what they were doing and all of that interaction is recorded on my ring camera. I asked for receipts, he refused to provide them. After 3 weeks I called to see if the door was in. He said it was and he would come on 9/2 And install the screen door. He never showed. Abandoned the job Kept my $900 and the new screen door. It is THEFT.
