    Attempting to send me to collections for a property move out, while the vacant unit is currently being completely renovated.
    I am essentially paying for them to update a unit that I moved into without an inspection after 2 previous tenants.
    One of the charges added to my final fee was $60 to remove a small grocery bag on the kitchen counter that contained the Broken smoke detector

    I moved out of a PRG property in NC last year (so they had my forwarding address/phone number). The resident portal showed that I had a zero balance until the day they took the access away. I was never told either way if I had an outstanding balance or a refund. The leasing office would only tell me that corporate would send something through the mail and provided the corporate number (no response).
    Corporate office failed to send ANY communication (mail/email/phone) to notify me of an outstanding balance. I was contacted by a debt collector this week (about a year after leaving) as there apparently was an outstanding balance.
