  CKO, Franklin Square, NY is the amalgamation of love and sports, community and fitness, family, and fun!

  Kickboxing at CKO, Franklin Square, NY became instrumental in my mental focus, my emotional growth and in building up self-confidence. I learned to accept that I must strive to develop my potential, to choose better paths towards a more enriched life, to not linger too long in self-defeat when my body couldn’t meet the challenge but to get back up again and exercise the potential that I know lives in me; the purpose that I need to embrace and most importantly, to turn all of that into the opportunity to do something real and positive. The encouragement there is real; they want me to succeed. Where, who, when does that happen in the real world where a diverse family of people all routing for you?
  Everyone has their own path. The funny thing is, some places help you find it better than others, and some people just never let you give up on yourself; never allow you to quit reaching, expanding, and believing.
  In conclusion, I think subconsciously when I first spoke to the owner of the gym and met her and agreed to take the 3-day trial, that I had unrealized expectations of myself (both my dreams and my reality), expectations of the gym (quality, support, concrete training) and of the experience (positive, impactful, authentic, safe), and I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, the primary reason why I joined the gym was because in just 3 lessons, CKO Franklin Square, had so far exceeded my expectations, that my only disappointment was that I didn’t join sooner.
