    I received services at *********** which is a hospital covered by my insurance with a copay. This company billed me $1800 which in my state is considered a surprise bill, as I was under the assumption my visit would be covered and services not provided by an in network provider is my fault. I called the customer service number multiple times, each representative agreeing that my insurance was billed incorrectly and the wrong ******* was billed for services which otherwise would have been covered if billed correctly. Each resolved to help me fix the problem; however, none ever did and this business now has sent the account to collections. I attempted to resolve this issue with the business directly but have not had any success.

    Dear Sir/Ma’am,

    Our office has received the letter of complaint regarding ******* ***** account for treatment received at ***** ****** **** ****** Medical Center on April 18, 2021 by Loop 101 Emergency Physicians. The account has been reviewed for billing accuracy. As of September 27, 2023 the referenced account has been adjusted to a zero balance. I have sent out a zero balance statement to the patient for their records.
