    I reached out to Frank after he installed railings at my aunts house. He came to measure on 12/4/24, but complained that its hard to get an accurate measurement while the old railing was still in place. He proceeded to measure, however, rather than having us remove the railing, so I assumed everything was fine. I paid a deposit of $520 via credit card. He and another man named ****** came on 12/30/24 to install the railing after giving me an hours notice that they were coming. Frank had to rip and cut the old railing out, causing significant damage to our walls. We had previously removed the railings twice ourselves without any damage. He then indicated that the new railing wouldnt be an exact fit because he couldnt measure right when he was last here. I didnt know what the ramifications of that would be without seeing the railing in place. When they were done, he and ****** rushed away to another job and I was left to assess the damage. I paid the remaining amount of $600 via check. The new railing does not fit to such an extent that he couldnt s**** in the bottom post; he instead just welded it to the existing metal plate. I reached out the following day, 12/31/24, to ask if there was any way we could address and remedy the problems. He responded that I knew what it would look like and that I should never contact him again. He offered to give me $100 that Id have to go pick up. The costs of repairing this damage will far exceed that small amount. I was actively talking to my bank when he cashed the check, indicating he rushed to do so before I had a chance to stop the check. Two photos of the damage are attached, and Im happy to provide more photos and records of our correspondence, as well. I am hoping to regain more than $100 so I can find someone who will fix the damage Frank caused and build a railing that actually fits our house.

    Good evening. I heard from the business through their attorney after filing a complaint with the *****************************. They are still not acknowledging any wrongdoing and only willing to offer a modest amount to help us replace the inadequate railing. While the situation is not resolved, I have been communicating with the attorney involved. Thank you.
