    This complaint concerns a moving and storage company, i.e., Elvis Dirt Cheap Moving (****), LLC located at ******************************************************************. I recently (3/31/23) employed the services of this company to move the contents of my two-bedroom apartment. While the weather was quite rainy and unpleasant for all on the day of service, overall the move was handled extremely haphazardly and unnecessarily chaotically. In advance, I had carefully and clearly labeled all items as to where they were to be placed upon arrival at my new address and instructed the workers as to how to understand and follow my organized scheme. They chose to ignore my instructions and did as they pleased, dumping my possession anywhere/everywhere, thus creating a nightmare for me. Some food items were placed in a storage unit on the property and had to be thrown out. Nothing of immediate need was accessible because of their blatant disregard of my wishes and I, literally, had to move heavy furniture into place myself. Not only did they damage a number of items, (e.g., splintered edges, broken handles and damaged wood finish on dressers and desk) when I checked my bank account, the ********************** double charged me for the service. I contacted the company several times about the overcharge and was eventually told by a sales representative that I would be refunded $300+ dollars within several days. I still have not received the refund monies, despite several follow-up contacts. While I realize this irresponsible company will not repay me for the damages done to my personal property, Im hoping you can intervene to ensure that all refund monies owed me are paid in full.
