    Date of transaction: 1/30/23 Amount paid: $50 prepayment for service. This business was to commit to providing me an eyebrow service on 2/1 at 3:00pm. Due to me being 3 minutes late past their “grace period” of 5 minutes (due to construction work on the road which I called in advance to give them notice of) they refused to service me and return my $50. When I called the receptionist at 2:57pm letting her know I’d be a few minutes after 3:05pm, she said I would lose my appointment with the owner but could see another brow stylist at 3:30pm for $35 so I agreed. She did not specify until I got there that I wouldn’t get my $50 back from my appointment I didn’t receive from the owner and that I would have to pay an additional $35 to be serviced by one of his assistants. After 10 minutes of her still refusing to refund me or let my $50 I prepaid for go towards another appointment time, I left and she then canceled the second appointment she had made with his assistant. I then wrote a review on google about the incident and they responded to the review lying saying that I was 12 minutes late. I have evidence from my **** driver receipt that I arrived at 3:08pm and they accused me of arriving at 3:17pm. Not only did they charge me for a service I never received but they have tried to make me seem like I’m the dishonest one. I am a first time customer at this business and I was treated cruelly and have been stolen from. I would like a full refund of $50 since I receive no services and feel like I’ve been robbed. They have been doing this to many others too. Taking money from people for services they didn’t perform. I have attached pictures to back up everything I’m stating. Please let me know if you need any additional documents or information from me. Their defense is that it’s in the policy they email customers that they don’t refund for any reason (even if they don’t service you) but as you can see their policy is unethical and shouldn’t continue to be allowed.
