  This owner of Rod Plumbing is a rude obnoxious know it all that came to my house with only a flashlight and no tools. He proceeded to talk over me telling me I misused my 15 yo old garbage disposal rather than I have used it successfully for 15 years. He seemed to make sarcastic remarks about my finished basement and finished little bathroom as if a disabled senior of color did not deserve to have them. He refused to even look at the toilet. He then told AHS that he did inspect everything. When I gave him the one star rating he called me within 5 minutes laying me out calling me all kinds of liars! He continued to text me nasty texts until I blocked him! I kept all his texts to prove how rude he is!! For a man who called me so many liars, he told AHS a bunch of them. He is arrogant unprofessional and discriminatory racist who thinks he can talk to women any way he wants and get away with it!

  Hi , my name is **** , i was contacted by ************* thru AHS warranty, to schedule an appointment, at which it time was scheduled for 7/11/2024 , between 9-1 . On the phone with ************* less then 3 min , at which time she told me she had a stoppage in her kitchen sink , i replied not a problem, someone will see you between 9-1 the next day . I ran the call myself, when i got there the owners house keeper or aid , not sure who she was , let me in , told me to wait they are putting the dog away , at which time they let me in , showed me the problem . At that moment i saw a big crack in the garage disposal and explained that i have to take pictures for AHS warranty to see what the policy covers , because something got jamned it there and blew a whole thr the side ,************* said ok what about the stoppage, at that time i used the the plunger to see if i can clear it , it didnt work . I Asked the 2 ladys what went down the drain so i can figure out a solution, at that time they looked at each other and said left over rice and egg foo younge , all i stated when dumping rice or any pasta down a drain u need to do it in small portions and run water the entire time . Then i asked who did the plumbing under the sink because it was installed wrong , ************* said the neighbor across the street, and we called but hes ignoring her calls . Also note when i arrived they had all types of things they bought because they were trying to clear it for 2 days they told me . So i went out to my truck to get a heavy duty plunger to see i can push it down , when i went to come back in to the house the other lady told me to wait because ************* was putting the dog upstairs because it wouldnt stop barking and the stick she had wasent scaring it to stop barking. was there for almost 45 min trying to clear it , also having conversation with both the ladies . Went down the basement several times to see if there was a clean out or some other was i can try and get it cleared or so i can run a machine. I explained to her that u have a finished basement and the pipe arent exsposed, never said anything about a small bathroom, her downstairs was done up very nice , i will not tolerate the racist card , I explained to ************* that i have to call AHS warranty send them the pictures and report. to see how they want me to proceed, i also explained to her that they dont rip down walls to gain access to pipe , or to install clean outs . she was fine with everything until *** denied her claim after reviewing the pictures. I also have the texts messages from her , i called her to ask why i was the one getting the short end of the stick because they didnt cover it , at which time she got nasty and all .then ************* mentioned a toilet to me on the phone , at that time asked her why didnt you mention it to when i asked whats the problems , ************* response was oh I thought i just mention it when you come back to fix the other stuff , i explained to her that i wasent sure what her policy covers that she was supposed to let me know when i was there then I could of address it ,. She had nothing to say . I also explained to her that pictures say a thousand words so she shouldnt lie and that God knows the truth . I am the one that blocked her also have the call logs and texts , also pictures to prove everything. Every time a warranty company dosent cover something its always the contractor that takes the heat . We dont write the warranty for homeowners. We just service them per the contract guidelines. And what the warranty companies allow us to do . ************* is the one that took this to a whole other level, with the lies ,and racist card . I will not stand for false story telling of any kind . Tbe truth will set you free . Thank you ****

  The owner of ROD PLUMBING, name is ****, **** is the resident Plumber for AMERICAN HOME SHIELD and my area, my first contact with **** of *** PLUMBING was the worst, when he called me to schedule an appointment he was yelling at me and screaming at me that I was a first time customer, and he has to come do an investigation, and he was just going on and on so within the next couple of days I canceled the appointment, I knew he was going to be trouble. Afterwards I contacted AMERICAN HOME SHIELD again to set up an appointment hoping to get a different Plumber, because I had a slow drain issue in my laundry room, I told by AMERICAN HOME SHIELD that I did not want this **** from *** PLUMBING but AMERICAN HOME SHIELD said, that this is SHIELD explained that I had to use ROD PLUMBING who covers my area my worst mistake ever this has been a nightmare he's a arrogant racist, piece of c*** he's very unprofessional he curses all the time he talks about other races as if he think he's the best con man on this earth for AMERICAN HOME SHIELD and buyer beware if you have a contract with AMERICAN HOME SHIELD, please don't let them send this guy out because he will be your worst nightmare, he explained to me because he runs his mouth all the time that the corporate office of AMERICAN HOME SHIELD likes him so much because just about every job he goes on he always says the customers are trying to get over so he calls it a pre-existing condition and they listen to him, buyer beware because **** got me into a situation with another company called ZOOM DRAIN&SEWER where they broke a snake down in my laundry room sink he would not fix The slow drain when he was at my house because he claimed he did not have a snake with him, what plumber do you know doesn't carry one of the main tools to handle a slow drain and he said he had a friend at Zoom that would fix it and now this guy is lying his way all the way to anybody and everybody who would listen to him... Please do your research.

  My name is ****, i am the owner of Rod plumbing, in response to this false complaint, she is totally lying regarding the entire situation, no one was yelling, she was upset because she just purchased the policy with AHS a week before the appointment, at the time of scheduling the homeowner tried to say she has several items , i with my tech explained to her that we have to diagnose the problem because her policy is new and AHS has a preexisting clause , thats when she started to get aggressive, i explained we will look at the items then try and help her , her laundry tub drain has been back up for a long time , even at one point she said she dropped something in there where she forgot to mention in her complaint, also she dumped a box of ridx in her drains along with other chemicals, ridx is for septic drains which she arguing saying thats what she has , we then explained to her that she is connected to a city sewer . We had all the proper tools , we air snaked then found out she tied a wet bar sink into the same drain of the laundry tub , on back side wall. We also have a video with my tech with the air snake showing the laundry tub was still blocked when we couldnt get it clear , we explained to her that we will not run a drain machine because this is a preexisting problem and I believe she might have a broken pipe she didnt wanna hear that ! Also explained we cant run a camera that the laundry tub drain is to small for camera to make the bends . Also AHS will not let us , she also bought a new fiberglass laundry tub and wanted us to install because its bigger then the other new fiberglass laundry tub she already had! it has to be hydro jetted to flush out the double drain , and Ahs does not cover that , she asked if we knew a company, we connected her up with Zoom drain cleaning and helped her schedule the appointment for that evening, she kept saying tell them they owe you a favor, to get it for free , my tech explained to her we dont own zoom , all we can do is asked if they can take care of her .at a discounted price . She also fail to mention in the complaint that we fixed her valves that were leaking , change her shower heads in 2 different bathrooms, and their for 2 hours , also failed to say when we first got there that once we get this drain cleear shes canceling AHS to me and my tech . also hugging me and my tech joking , yelling black power as we are walking out her door in front of the ring camera. But the moment Zooms arrived she signed a waiver with them before they start the work , then when the machine got stuck thats when she lost it and started harassing me and my company, also told Zoom im paying the bill for Zoom , they called me i said absolutely not when the office scheduled the appointment they were clear that the owner is responsible then she told them she dont have any money. She also lied to AHS and told them that we broke the cable off in her drain , Zoom already explained to AHS that they did it because she has a broken pipe plain and that simple. She is the one being racist and tried to scam the systm with AHS .and it back fired . She even went to the point to show me five bad reviews in the last 5 years , at which time I explained to her they are AHS customer, and out of 24 years i must be doing something right . Thank you
