      We paid $1500.00 for restoration for a flood in our basement, to only find out(10/14/2024) ********** issued a payment in the amount of $3997.45 to both myself and my husband also home shield. He charged us $1800.00 for leveling our basement floor of which was not done either. To only find out Home Shield submitted and bill for restoration on top of what was paid out to their contractor **** *******.

      Thank you for the report . The homeowners paid a contractor on their own free will unbeknownst to us . We remedied the situation by directing the remediation money to the ***** and making them whole. Even for the electric bill that the insurance company didnt reimburse them for .I would expect complete exoneration and furthermore a sincere thank you for the insured . Thank you the ownership of Home Shield Public Adjisters

      Date of contract is 10/29/2022. The ******************** was contacted by Home Shield Public Adjusters regarding a fire the previous night next door to our *********** Center. Because the fire spread, there was a lot of water and smoke damage to the our building. The firefighters had to make a hole is the roof of the building and a door was damaged in order to get in the building on the 1st floor. Home Shield contacted me for the ****** and we signed an agreement that they would handle working with our insurance company, ****** ****** to bring in and adjuster to review all the damage and provide an estimate. This they did. However, they contacted a restoration company who came and ripped out all of the damages materials such as drywall, flooring, ceiling tiles etc. It was our understanding that the company they hired, *********  Restoration, LLC would be responsible for removing all of that material. As of this date, there are 17 bags sitting in the building that new to be removed and no one has responded to our calls or email messages. I contacted several times by phone and email. ON my phone call to ********, I was told the ******************* would be callling me. That did not happen. My last contact wa 6/1/23, and email to ******* ******, Customer Relations at Home Shield that prompted no response. Our ****** family is very disappointed. We feel that the service that was provided was not completed. All we want is for the trash they left in the building to be removed so we can begin restoring the property for use in the community.

        Good morning ************************* and to the Bureau , first of all I apologize that this has happened . I will contract someone immediately to remove the trash . I have already left a phone message for *************** and will follow up with an email immediately . And though this was not Home Shield's duty it is our  duty to represent the customer in all aspects of the claim. I hope this will suffice and once again I apologize to both the *************** and the Bureau .  Respectfully ******* ****** **
