In 2019, I subscribed to Philadelphia Magazine. After a year, I did not renew my subscription, but I continued to be charged for the magazine. I have not received the magazine in four years. I want my money back and I want the monthly charge to stop.

June 2022-Received (in the mail) special offer for a 3-year subscription to Philadelphia magazine Sent check for $17.99 (for 3 years) on 6/1/22. Check cashed on 6/8/22.Contacted Philadelphia magazine fulfillment office by phone in August 2022 and asked status of subscription. Was told there was a new system in process and they couldn't help me for 3-4 (additional) weeks (to mid Sept).I sent a follow-up email in September 2022 with a copy of my cancelled check attached. Received emails from "Alleo" and "Steve" on the same day (9/20/22). Alleo's email said my subscription/check was never received and I should send a copy of my cancelled check. Steve acknowledged receipt of my payment with an apology and said my subscription would begin with the Sept 2022 issue and end with the Aug 2025 issue. As of 10/31/22, I had only received one issue and requested cancellation of my subscription. My subscription was cancelled as of 10/31/22. Subsequently I received one more issue. Today, 12/19/22, I received an email from "Jassa" acknowledging that my subscription was cancelled, but no refund is due. Let me be clear, this was supposed to be a 3-year subscription for $17.99. The original solicitation stated that a refund would be provided for all unsent issues or in the event of cancellation. I received two issues of the magazine and am requesting a refund of all unsent/cancelled issues.

Trying to cancel a magazine subscription. My debit card was charged on September 1. I called to cancel and get a refund. They said “their system is in transition “and they can’t do any refunds. So I asked how they were able to charge my account if they can’t use their system. No answer. Also sent an email September 2, Also asking to cancel and get a refund. They just said they sent an email confirmation when it takes place. Today is September 12, no action. Called again twice, sent another email.
