    I contact Two Kings Remodeling to have work completed in my basement because of a flood. An estimate was given to me on November 13, 2022. Mr. Carl (one of the contractors and owner) asks for a deposit of 7,043.77. We agreed to a deposit of $4,000. and I would pay for all the materials needed. I gave Mr. O****** a check for $4,000. The bank would not cash this check because of the amount. They required the check to be deposited. After getting a call from Mr. O****** stating his dilemma, I wrote two checks for $2,000. Mr. O****** was able to cash one check. He had to wait until November 15, 2022, to cash the second check. I decided to cancel Mr. O******'s services after reading several bad reviews. I called the bank and put a stop payment on the second check for $2,000. When I called and canceled his services, he stated he would refund my money on Friday, November 18, 2022. I never received the money which should have been cash. I called Mr. O****** and he stated he put the money in the mail with an explanation of the charges. He said he had charged me for travel and planning. I called Mr. November 25, 2022, and told him I never received the money. I have left a several message on his personal and business telephone. I have not spoken to Mr. O******. He has never responded to any of my message.

    Hi **** ******** This is Carl ****** ****** O****** Yes you can come and pick up two checks for the payment in which belong to you he has explain the situation with me couple of weeks ago and he  would like to return the money to you if that's alright with you *** ******** one you can come either Monday on the 23rd of January for the amount of $500.00 and $1300.00 I will be giving it to you myself do to his medical & hospital situation ok. The $500.00 can be available on Wednesday which can be cash at ******** ******** or your branch of your choice and the $1300.00 can be available on February 1st due to his disability. I know he told me that he was going to due $1500.00 but I told him $1800.00 due to Greg has not returned his portion. He felt that getting material and travel expenses was his payment.
