      A associate took my order over the phone on 1/19/2024. I ordered a full sheet cake and 2 dozen cupcakes for pick up on Saturday 1/20/2024. The associate took my payment over the phone. ***** said she would text me and I was responsible for replying back with the writting on the cake. I responded with the image. Clerk processed my payment while I was on the phone and told me payment was recieved. I did not receive a payment receipt or order confirmation. I was unable to pick up the cake on 1/20/24 due to a snow storm that started late friday night. The store contacted me on 1/21/24 and 1/22/24 to tell me the order was ready. When they left a message they did not tell me their disposal policy. I called back on 1/21/24 and received no answer or return call. I called again on 1/24/24 to come for pickup due to not getting through previously. Clerk placed me to hold to see if my order was available. ***** returned and stated that the order was disposed of and no credit/refunds were available. I told the clerk ** calling to pickup the cake and she said its nothing she can do. I asked to speak to the manager. I spoke to the manager and she told me the policy was after 5 days they dispose of the cake due to freshness and the stores policy of not giving back a refund or credit is printed on the receipt. I told her I never received a receipt of any kind (via email or text) and the store has my contact info. However I never recieved a receipt so i did not have any of the store policy information nor was I provided that info in writing or over the phone. This was day 4. My cake should have been available to me even according to their policy and it was not. The Manager bluntly told me their was nothing she would do to compensate me. I am outraged that this company would take advantage of their customers. This is their company. They are aware they don't issue receipts. They were also aware they didnt explain their policy and that is their responsibility I want a full refund.
