      The roof to my home was done 9/11/2021 by J&K Roofing. I purchased the home two months later, in November of 2021, so it was a brand new job when I purchased. The previous owner gave me the information for the company which provided a ten year warranty on their work. In my home inspection near the time of purchase in 2021, the inspector noted that there was pooling on the roof, and that it should be looked at. I called back and forth with the company several times, trying to get them to come and at least look at the roof to get their professional opinion but I was left leaving voicemails and going back and forth with a receptionist who insisted on telling me the pooling was normal. After much back and forth, I finally spoke to ****, the owner of the company. He also insisted that it was normal.On April 14th, in one of my upstairs rooms, I found what looks like mold or water damage on the ceiling. Since then, Ive called several times to their office and to ***** personal phone number, trying to reach someone and leaving messages. No one responds at the office number. I was finally able to get a call back from his personal number, only after I called and left a message from my work phone number, on April 17th. He told me again that the pooling is normal and that I should have the roof recoated every 3 years. He said that he would call me on the next business day, Monday April 21st to schedule a day or to come that day. He has not rescheduled back out to me or returned any of my phone calls, again to his personal number and his businesses office number.

      On November 2021, J&K Roofing LLC was supposed to install a new rubber roof and coating and a new skylight.. He sent pictures of the completed work. I thought the job was complete and paid him. Fast forward to June 2024, my bathroom roof around the skylight began heavily leaking. After a few attempts he contacted me back and came out and said the skylight was fixed. Next day it rained and leaked again. I contacted him again. After about a month he said he would get a new skylight by Saturday. I did not hear from him so I contacted him the next Wednesday. He came to the house with a can (I assume of tar) but no skylight. It rained again and leaked again. It is now August 9, 2024 and still leaking. I had to have this issued resolved so I called a new roofer. Found out that he never installed a new roof. Only a coating.

      I contracted J & K Roofing to do work on my house on October 29, 2022. The Scope of the work was to remove and reinstall all existing siding and soffit from the rear to front end of the house and on the front bay. I was charged $8,500 for the job.On April 23, 2024 I noticed that one of the siding pieces on the front bay got loose and was hanging. I also noticed that birds and squirrels were going into the new soffit. I contacted the owner of J & K Roofing immediately and asked if he could come and fix the problems. I mentioned to him that I have a 15-year warranty according to the contract. Its now a week later and I have not seen or heard back from J & K Roofing. I have called and texted the owner multiple times. They did not show up and have stopped communicating. Currently they are in breach of contract.
