My wife ***** purchased me a gift card from Mister Relaxation Men's Spa & Lounge via their webpage. The receipt for the egiftcard in the amount of 150 dollars is attached. Note that nowhere on their website, the gift card purchasing pages/ agreements or confirmation email of purchase do they state that their is an expiration date. The purchase of this gift card was made on 2/14/22. The second attachment shows an email sent by Mister Relaxation on 10/30/23 stating that they can no longer extend curtesy on gift cards and they expire six month post purchase and that gift cards must be used or lost by November 1st 2023 which was two days later. This email was also sent on a Monday, in which they closed. They are also closed on Tuesday the 31st. So the email is fradualant in its ability to redeemed within their made up grade period. This was the first communication of its kind sent out. My wife ***** called and left a message on the 31st. They got back to her on the 1st and told her thre was nothing they can do. They incorrectly stated expiration dates were posted and failed to acknowledge how someone could even redeem their gift card that they were claiming they were extending a curtesy for. The alleged owner on the phone again stated their was nothing that can be done and when my wife told them a formal complaint would be filed they hung up the phone.
