I was in the process of becoming a provider for Grow Therapy. The first time I talked to someone, I was told that it would take a few weeks to get credentialed, but I could see self-pay patients in the meantime. After I paid an absurd amount of money, because they required me to have a collaborating physician before they even started the process of credentialing, I was told that it would be more than a month before I could start seeing patient. Prior to even being able to see any patient, I would have paid, at the minimum, two months towards a collaborating physician (at over $1000 per month). It went from a few weeks to more than a month before I could start to see patients. I tried to contact the person that I met with the first time and got no response from her. When I finally texted her, she responded saying that "she had family things going on so she never even saw my emails".This experience has been horrible. I firmly believe that Grow Therapy has very unethical business practices and may even be bordering on illegal. I would never recommend them to work with.

Absolutely ***************** Very unethical. Charged me $290 for my first visit and then $190 for next two visits each. Tried to charge my card after the first two visits and when it didnt go through they canceled my appointments. You cant get through to customer service they use automated bots. Never once did they give me an itemized bill or statement. They have no options to make payments or even make split payments they told me to call billing and when I did they said they would call me back and never did. They just expect you to put a cc on file and then they charge you the full price without waiting for your insurance to process the claim. I dont even think they submit it to your insurance company. Finally reached someone by email and asked what are your contracted prices with ******, and they said these are the contracted prices through ******. I said I dont think so. I had therapy with another provider for 3 months and it was only $700 out of pocket. They charged me over $600 for 3 appointments! Unreal. Cancelled all my appointments with them and filed a claim with ******. Seeking therapist help and this increased my anxiety and trauma 100%. A word to the wise, do not use this company ever! Unethical crooks!

This company has been absolutely awful to work with in regards to figuring out why they are charging me incorrect amounts and not being refunded when multiple reps have confirmed it is indeed their mistake and they are at fault. I've made multiple attempts to speak to someone via phone to get this straightened out but I never get a call back. I can only talk to reps via chat who say they are going to escalate my account but it's been weeks of the same issue over and over again. I highly suggest to anyone to NOT use this company and seek other providers.

They contacted me w/ a billing issue and 24 hours to respond or be charged $XXX penalty. I immediately contacted my insurance company. However, over two weeks they have failed to respond to any of my emails or (apparently) submit new insurance information to be reimbursed and even have now cancelled my future doctor appointments. Can not understand why they have decided to shut down all communications this way. Really really bad. If you are stuck similarly there is literally no one to appeal to (barring online reviews whereever you can find them such as here w/ the BBB).
