Date of Transaction: 3/27/2024 I visited the business to do a change of 4 tires, at which point I was given a quote of $540. I was later advised by an employee who identified himself as "****" that I would also have to change my hub assembly (for one of the wheels) although that was not the purpose of my visit. At that point, he quoted an additional $350, without furnishing a proper repair estimate to detail the specific cost of goods or services. It was at this point that my suspicion of fraud was raised. The business was later paid $540, and an additional $352.62. When I retrieved my car from the auto shop, I suddenly discovered that something was terribly wrong with the vehicle. There were now three warning messages displayed on the dashboard that were not there when I dropped off my vehicle at the repair shop. The messages are as follows: "ABS," "VDC OFF," and "SLIP." I subsequently contacted the shop and informed ****** of the above. I informed him that I would return to have it investigated and corrected. I went back to the location on April 3, 2024. I was informed by an unidentified front desk representative that I would have to pay to make repairs to the vehicle sensor. I informed her that my sensor was working properly when I brought the car in for service; indeed, I should not have to pay for the damage done by Tire Techs due to their own negligence, recklessness, and incompetence. The business has adamantly refused to remedy the damage they have created and has compromised essential safety features including the vehicle dynamic control system, the traction control system, and the anti-lock braking system. I am demanding that the business cover the cost of having my vehicle repaired at a reputable auto-repair company, as they have already demonstrated their ineptness in performing repairs, and have refused to remedy the damages they have created. A customer should not have to pay to correct the faulty work and mistakes of a repair shop.
