I used ********************** (car shipping broker company) who used Vilson car transport trucking company to ship my car from WA to MD. Car picked up 9/8/23 and delivered on 9/15/23. Upon delivery, there was damage to the front of the car. The driver refused to take a photo of the damage. I only marked off the one area of damage on the delivery BOL/ Bill of lading. The driver then took the delivery BOL which is for me to complete after inspection and made additional marks when I had no concerns about any other damage. Vilson also did not email me the electronic copy of the bill of lading which I needed in order to file a claim. I was only able to obtain it through the car broker company. I then tried to file a claim with the Vilson's insurance carrier (********* coverage insurance) but they said they cant start a claim until Vilson authorizes it, which they refuse to do. Vilson has repeatedly ignored my communication. I only got any response by getting both the insurance carrier and the car shipping broker company involved. Vilson stated to *** broker company that they will cover $500 worth of damage without going through insurance. However, I obtained two independent car repair estimates which both came out to $800. ***, the car broker company, has also now been unsuccessful in getting further response from Vilson in resolving this matter. I would like the entire repair cost to be covered, not just a portion of it. Any assistance from BBB would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,********************

Hi there, thank you for trying to help even though there was no resolution. Would you be able to remove my name from the complaint if it is going to be publicly posted on BBB?

    Thank you!
