Had a flood, insurance company sent us to miller restoration. Work is not completed, they now have put a ****** dollar lean on my house for drop ceiling that is falling down, counter top that was installed crooked and a multitude of other issues. They also provided for a threatening environment in my home. We also did not sign a completion order, although forced by many workers at Miller restoration. Miller restoration also sub contracted out to J and J construction who literally hit glue gunned my cabinet faces back on. We did not sign an agreement to have the work subcontracted out. This started in April 2023. Lastly, they state that we only have them ******* for the job which is incorrect.

This customer signed a contract and services were completed that were not compensated for. Miller is exercising its rights under the law and  PA code 3926. Theft of services. This is not a BBB issue; This is a customer who wants to keep the money they received from their insurance company and stiff a contractor with the bill. If it was about any real issue the customer could have at any point contacted us or returned our calls. They chose to not communicate and commit endurance fraud, and they will see their day in court no matter who they complain to or how many bed reviews they give us. They do not have any of the other company involved in this insurance claim standing by them because the Customer is in the wrong.

Miller Restoration completed work with an outstanding balance over $10,000. This balance is for work that has been completed. Any punch list items they feel are outstanding are not included in the balance being requested.
Our invoice was submitted to State Farm with proof of completion and State Farm released payment. The ****'s Received the check from State Farm for the amount of our invoice. The ****'s chose to keep the payment from state Farm, and not submit payment for our bill. The chose to file a complaint that there were items we did not finish, and they didn't feel they should have to pay. They threatened to sue Miller on more than one occasion.the ****'s made decisions independently that impacted Millers Scope of work without our knowledge, and then became angry when those decisions did not work out,the way they wanted, blaming Miller. Miller did not install countertop, this was done through *********** Miller is who explained to the ****'s that the countertop was not installed correctly. Mrs **** was the person levying threats to Miller, threatening to ***** us. By the end of the job we were running out of employees or trade partners who wanted to go to the house because of the way the customer talked to them.
******************** is a General Contractor, as such we contract with partners in the trades. There is no reason our customer would ever have to sign an agreement regarding our subcontractors, as the utilization and organizing of subcontractors is literally the reason Miller is hired.
After contacting our collections attorney because of lack of response from the customer, and looking into the customers,we were advised to file a lien and press charges. This issue will be resolved in a court of law by a justice of the piece. Mrs. **** thinks if she just complains and leave us bad reviews this will go away. Miller Restoration reached out to the ****'s numerous times through Phone, Email, Snail mail, to finalize this job and the ****s chose to ignore and not responded to any of our contact attempts for months. We have still received no contact other than the numinous attempts at complaints that will not stop our legal action.

Our documentation and photos from our last visit do not reflect what they are saying. Miller would have been happy to come back out and address any issue they may have been upset about if payment for our services was an option. We were never contacted to do so because this complaint isn't about any issues, its about keeping the money they owe for services rendered. The ****'s had months to respond to our attempts to investigate and remedy any issue they may have had.

Please ****** ******* ****. There are pages of info that will help you understand they type of person she is.  **********************************************************************************
