went to the car wash on 28 October. It stopped in the middle of the cycle with the arms behind our car. We felt the car lunge forward. We called the phone number and were told to go inside and get a token to finish the wash in the other bay. We did that. When we got home and were touching up the drying, we noticed the scratches on the back of the car where the arms had hit it.. We contacted the phone number again and were told that we would not be reimbursed for the damage. We went back-and-forth a few times via text, as he would not answer the phone, and his final comment was ,"your blocked, *****". Not only is he a jerk, but he doesn't know English grammar. He says he has a video and it shows that his machine did not touch the car.
The video Should show that it had no scratches going into the wash. How else would you explain 2 scratches exactly where the arms hit car?

    To whom it may concern,

We are aware of the customer's complaint. The original issue was rectified while the customer was at our business. After they left our premises, they complained that the their car had been scratched. The customer never once came into our business to notify us at the time of the "scratch." We have cameras in the car wash and have reviewed footage of the alleged incident multiple times. The car wash arms did not hit their car due to the fact that they have a design feature that ensures they break away and release into the air upon potential contact with a vehicle. No other discussion is needed in this matter.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

We arrived at the car wash at approximately 10:20 AM on October 28. We went into the second bay. Halfway through the car wash, it stopped working and we felt a jolt from behind. The arms of the car wash were still behind the car. We immediately called the help number listed and were told to go into the notary office to get a token and proceed to the other bay to finish the car wash. We did this. We then headed home approximately, approximately 3 miles away to finish drying the car. That is when we noticed the scratches. We tried to call him again but received no answer, so we sent the picture showing the scratches at 10:48 AM, right where the arms had stopped moving around and hit the car. If he truly has a video, I would like to see it, where it shows the back of the car going into the car wash, with no scratches. I would like to meet with him and see the video. We did not go back to the office because we did not realize this was the car wash office and the man on the phone said there was nobody there to fix the car wash. The office says Notary and nothing about being the office for the car wash.
