    May 16th, 2025 I took my 2011 ********** Routan to get the all my breaks and rotors replaced due to old breaks and wear. All parts were paid for and ordered by me before service. I paid the mechanic $140 to have all the rotors and break pads replaced. When the mechanic reached the front driver side rotor, he claimed that my caliper was damaged with evident leaking break fluid. I was told I must buy a new caliper and have it replaced otherwise he wont be able to finish the job. I notified a friend to give me a ride where I could purchase a new caliper same day. The caliper was bought and installed and soon later the job was finished.The same day I noticed the car making an odd sound that Ive never heard before. I notified the mechanic and he told me to monitor it for a while and to see if it either goes away or gets worse. It started getting worse and Ive mentioned that to him with no response. For a while the sound stopped and I had wrongly assumed everything was okay until Monday June 9th when my car broke down in front of a Vocellis. I called and texted and let him know what happened with no *********** new caliper is now grinding on the rim of my tire and the vehicle can not move. I have pictures, videos, and witnesses to all that has transpired and simply wish that they repair my car the way intended. Any parts that need replaced be paid for by the business. No payment for labor to fix the vehicle.
