I have been with Dollar Bank for over 25 years and their fee schedules are really ridiculous. I have been charged bounced check fees on money on hold, not taken out. Their fee is $36 and this has happened recently several times. The customer service **** are rude. I will definitely be changing banks.

Do not want friends, family, nor anyone to deal with this bank: unprofessional, rude, and mishandled Treasury Check and lost all of my money. Within 2 weeks $7 left in the bank and running back and forth to the office they won't let me see a Manager. Numerous times wasted phone calls offshore customer service. Sick of this nightmare and now ID theft. When does it end?!! Nothing is resolved and I do not have extra money to cover for foods and car repairs and had to borrow money from family. Just a living nightmare! Do not bank here! They also lied about fixing credit and I paid them in thousands on time but nothing much benefits the customers like me except for them. Lies and support no wrong doing. Tricked me to sign and move money from savings to checking then all was stolen! No one wants to be accountable. Statements stolen and shipped 5 months late stamped Pitney-Bow Jan. 2nd! I just received it Late April! They only give you 60 days to claim? Really!!!I've given enough chances.....refused to make prepaid money available, no car rental at the airport too! Also lost thousands to plane ticket they claimed too late to get back! Do not bank here, Please!

Have been a Dollar Bank customer for 7+ years. Attempted to deposit a large U.S. Treasury check into my account. Supervisor said she could not deposit it because the last name on the check was my married name, not my maiden last name that I use today. She said I would **** to bring in a Divorce certificate for proof. Ridiculous! Now, I have to stop payment on the check and ask government office to deposit $$ directly into my account, which could take ***** days. ***************** Joke.

Dollar Bank has the worst customer service of any **** of Ive dealt. I had fraudulent charges on my account. I was directed to the fraud center, which is an offshore call center, and told they could only note the account. They had no way to reverse the charges. For that, I was told to call another number. After waiting on hold for over an hour, I was told I had the wrong department account department was the wrong department. I asked to transferred and they couldnt. When I called the same number and went to the correct department, it said they were closed and I had to call back tomorrow. This is deplorable. I spent over two hours on the phone and now I have spend more time tomorrow.

Careless, Unprofessional, Useless stuff.I deposited an absolutely legit check. They returned it and charged me a fee.I called them asking to review the check as it was not the first time when I deposited check from the same business with the same account number. They refused to review, told me I had to proof that the check was legit and ask the issuer to send me a new check, so that they could charge me a fee again because the issuer would send me same exact check with nothing wrong about it.I have made 3 trips to different Dollar Bank Branches, spoke on the phone with CS twice, Emailed to the check issuer, made 2 trips to a bank whos name was on the check, finally I got the proof.I emailed ** saying I have a proof the check was legit.Respond was: We can not longer assist you. They just wanted to shut me down. What have I done to deserve it. I deposited a legit check, whatever happened with the employee who punched wrong numbers or their technical support, that all is not my fault but everybody was so mean to me. For what reasons?Everybody jumped on board to help: the issuer was on it, their bank was on it (even though I was not even their client), everybody teamed up except of the Dollar Bank.Every time I interact with the ** representatives, I meet a friendly but clueless faces or mean and unprofessional people. I heard them talking about me to each other with a sarcasm and giggling even though they knew I was right there and could hear it.But they did not bother, Because they knew I could not do anything about it.The check was rejected by something or somebody on ** part. It was a totally legit check.I sent them the proof of it and never heard a single sorry. All I heard was I dont know and We can not longer assist you.The bottom line is: When you are with a Dollar Bank - you are on your own. They hate you there.

I am currently in the process of switching to PNC due to Dollar Banks incompetence and inability to keep up with basic technology. Back on 6/29, I received a text regarding suspicious charges on my card originating from ******* I was unsure of the legitimacy since I do have monthly ****** charges, so after calling the ************ I was advised to call DB to look into past ****** charges. The woman I spoke to was incredibly unhelpful and told me to just call ******* My debit card was also going to be expiring at the end of July so I asked if a new one would have already been issued, and she (incorrectly) told me that debit cards arent printed and mailed out until closer to the end of the expiry month. I was shocked by that but glad the card hadnt been reissued yet. I let the ************ know I couldnt confirm the charge, so my debit card was blockedtwo days before vacation. I had to rely on a credit card for my trip and expected to come home to a new debit card, but that didnt happen either. I didnt receive a new debit card in the mail until 7/11, and when I opened it and went to activate it I found out IT WAS THE SAME **** NUMBERS AS THE **** WITH FRAUD ON IT. I immediately called the customer service line and was told that the woman Id spoken to didnt bother marking the card as fraudulent and thus my expiring card was reissued. The man I spoke to that time was extremely apologetic and told me not to activate the new card since the bad charges would go through, and he confirmed a new card was being issued for **** got an email on 6/12 that a new card was on its way. Today is 6/18, and I STILL dont have a debit card. DB claims itll take **** business days to receive a card, which is insane when I live 26 miles up the road from where its coming from. If something like this happens at PNC, you can go into a branch to have a new card printed right away. Get with the times, DB, or youll lose more and more customers like me.
