    Recently had an experience, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The overall process was marred by frequent errors and inconsistencies that left me dissatisfied.

    One of the major issues I encountered was a lack of attention to detail from the illustrator. Despite clear instructions in the manuscript, there were numerous instances where the illustrator failed to adhere to the provided guidelines. Color changes were made without proper consultation, and even a single edit request resulted in subsequent changes that deviated from the original vision in which I failed to initially acknowledge because I was only looking for the edits requested to be made (not additional non-requested).

    To compound matters, upon close scrutiny of the published book, discrepancies between the email version and the printed copy became apparent. Notably, the hair in an illustration was not fully colored, leaving an unsightly sketch visible. Now, I find myself in the unfortunate position of having to seek assistance elsewhere to rectify this oversight.

    Furthermore, many images were submitted with lingering sketch elements that required cleanup by the publishing company. This lack of attention to detail not only reflects poorly on the illustrator but also creates additional work for those involved in the production process.

    Perhaps another frustrating aspect of this experience was the extended turnaround time (however it is advertised that a credit be made to client in this event, yet I was issued no reversal funds). The project took much longer than anticipated, causing unnecessary delays and impacting my overall satisfaction with the service.

    I am seeking the image to be updated with full color for the hair.

    We have cooperated with the author in the past also and provided changes as requested by her.

    Regarding the latest issue- we have decided to offer revisions as requested by the author again to her satisfaction.

    The business has addressed my original complaint by sending an updated image. Although they couldn't offer a discount for the late turnaround time, they proposed a gift of retaining my files for changes for up to five years, along with a discount on probable future projects together. This proposal has helped us find common ground, and I accept it.
