    We got this gentleman and his partner for a plastering job for the ceiling kept coming back. It took 4 weeks when done it looks like cake in our ceiling terrible job it cost 500.00 and we are very disappointed we would like to have our refund back with the work that was done

    Customer complaint may contain inaccuracies. The photo shown is (not) of a completed job. Customer stopped the project after 2/3 process and asked for all funds to be reimbursed in order for another individual to finish which is a breach of contract on their part. Our company responded with two options. (1) We will provide a 20% refund being that funds were pre-paid and final adjustments were not yet made. (2) We return to make final adjustments for no additional charge as originally agreed. Customer then cut all communication and filed a complaint with BBB. Prior to contacting DP7 for a solution, customer's ceiling was damaged by a flood caused by a leaking tub. Ceiling remained opened for close to (1) year. This was done by a different contractor that the customer was unsatisfied with according to our first in person discussion. The result of prior water damage/flooding caused multiple sections of the ceiling to sag, crack, become uneven and brittle. Our staff explained the severity of the prior damage and told them not to expect best results without removing a much larger section of the ceiling that could extend over to the ceiling corners rather than removing and replacing a much smaller section from the middle. Customer explained that their budget and interest in extending the work area was limited. During the repair process, customer repeatedly said things such as " Wow, this is really coming along and looking so much better. Also, I can't wait to see the finished look, what an improvement." Final steps explained were to place a level on the ceiling to confirm exactly where last adjustments would be made and this is when the former customer asked for all of their money back as explained previously. We find the customer's actions to be a breach of contract and unethical. Our other reviews do not mirror the inaccuracies and inconsistencies of this recent occurrence. DP7 values all projects both small and large and always attempts to provide a reasonable solution. A reimbursement of 20% for their pre-payment is still available being that the customer has chosen to stop the project at 2/3 completion. We are requesting closure to this matter within 15 days.

    Well, our response is this why would we send a complaint and not happy with this company to BBB and want a refund if the company did the work correctly as we said from the first we hired them for a  ceiling problem what they are saying is just not true at all it took them 6 weeks to do the job they kept coming back here put plywood in the ceiling. From the beginning we were told they should have cut the space larger they did not we did not have someone come in till they said they were done after 6 weeks. They would paint the area and when painted at first seemed better when wet when they left when dried it looked like a  large cake pan in the ceiling they said that was the best they could do we gave them 500.00 for this work and they started out 300.00 we had another company in did not know where to go from there so we had a  professional plaster look at it he said was not done correctly. 
    We felt if he was going to have problems, he should have just not done the job you do not tell a client about having bad results that is why we hired him and the best we can do!!! we were looking for a smooth ceiling and good work again we did not stop the 2/3 at all they finished that's terrible to say on their part we would like our money back and get this done correctly in our living room he lied and added things on and we don't want to have him back here  ty
