  Lots of fake positive reviews posted on ****** and ********* Theres a reason you can get an appointment here right away. Their hours are 7AM to 12PM M-F and because of this, they over schedule. This results in the one Dentist in the office and the dental assistants running around like chickens with their heads cut off. 1 dentist jumps between 5 patients at a time. If she doesnt have time, she lets the assistant do procedures she should be doing. They only care about making money and it is obvious.They will charge you up front, double what your insurance will pay and at the same time bill your insurance.

  I recently moved back to the area while finishing dental work up outside out Pittsburgh. A temporary ****** cracked (my appointment for permanent being the following week). I was told they could bond it for me for my trip over the weekend so I came in. Less than 24 hours later the bonding completely crumbled. I called to ask for a refund considering I didnt get 24 hours out of the tooth. The staff was instantly rude and defensive and rejecting my request. They said that I paid for the exam not the bonding. I was never examined as I was clearly currently under dental care being I had temporary ******* (the assistant said that herself) and when they checked me out they said it was for BONDING. I asked to be transferred to the office manager. After waiting on hold awhile she answers and hung up before I could speak. I waited a bit and called back and the front office let me know shes been waiting for my call. Weird anyone who cared about customers or their job wouldve called the customer.. also was said in quite a passive aggressive tone. The moment the call connected she was rude, told me my previous dentist did a s***** job and thats why I was there (Ive paid $40K and have a too specialist it was a TEMP that broke after a few weeks because I was out of town). She told me their work was also temporary (I guess 20 hours is what they call a sufficient temp) & they werent refunding me that I paid for the exam (that I never had). She asked me if she is supposed to just hand out free services. I will always pay for GOOD service but I dont find bonding that cant hold up 24 hours and being cursed at is someone who deserves my money. The front desk workers were cocky but the mouth on the office manager is absurd.

  I was looking for a new dentist because the practice I was going to for 13 years had so much turnover with hygienists and they recently had the only one quit. I got several recommendations for Pittsburgh Dental Spa so I called and made an appointment and had my dental records transferred over prior to my first visit. I went in today and was expecting to be treated like a new patient who was nervous about the first visit. The hygienist ******* came out to get me; then she tells me that she has take **rays first which they neglected to tell me when I scheduled the appointment. Then she goes over the **rays and was trying to push procedures on me that I didnt need or was required. I was just there for a cleaning & checkup. I asked her if she reviewed my records prior as they contained my treatment plan from the previous dentist. She said no then brought **** the dentist in and she started pushing pricey procedures on me as well. I told them both that I didnt want or need what they were recommending &thanked them. The hygienist did the cleaning, then basically pushed me out the door without asking if I wanted to reschedule the next appointment. Then I go up front to the receptionist and she told me to sit & she would get the treatment plan from the hygienist; she came back in a few minutes and said youre done & can leave! I asked her arent you going to schedule my next appointment? She grabbed a card & looked at the calendar for six months out & scheduled the appointment! I was extremely upset at how I was treated because I didnt chose the unnecessary pricey treatment that they were pushing on me. They dont make you feel comfortable or relaxed; they stress you out and treat you like dirt! I called after I left the appointment today asking to speak with the office manager but instead was told she was busy & would get back to me, which she never did! I highly advise people not to go there.
