  ******* charged me $3395.00 to track my husband for three days over the weekend for an out of town trip to the D.C.  He failed to find my husband the first day so was unable to do the surveillance. He told me there would be no charge for that day since they didn't find him. I asked him to trail him another day and I think he mistakenly trailed my car? But he did find my husband at work where he was for maybe three hours before leaving to go out of town. He was followed until he was about an hour from his office. He told me again this would be no charge. I told ******* I no longer wanted his services and wanted a return of half of the money paid as was a term of his contract. He not only refused to give me any of the money back, but he charged me an additional $467.27. This is the most dishonest and unscrupulous investigative agency and individual. I got absolutely nothing from his "service". Maybe 3-4 hours tracking for $4000.00? Do NOT use this company!

  On Friday, July 8, 2022, ****** ** ********, (CLIENT) retained Alabaster Investigations (AGENCY) to look into her husband’s possible involvement with another female. The (CLIENT) was told at the initial consultation that the budget amount of $3,395.00 is for three days (8 hours a day). The retainer applies to Allegheny County and the immediate Counties surrounding Allegheny County. The (CLIENT) stated that her husband will be going to Washington, D.C. for the weekend. It was mentioned that we will be happy to travel to D.C. yet and additional $1,900.00 will apply to the retainer amount. The (CLIENT) stated that she is not willing to pay the additional amount and we can continue our investigation within the geographical area(s) listed above. On the first day of the investigations the (CLIENT) provided incorrect information regarding the whereabouts of her husband. We attempted to locate her husband based on the information provided with no luck. The (CLIENT) requested from Alabaster Investigation to look into a therapist who might be in a relationship with the husband. Alabaster Investigations performed data searches, online investigation regarding the husband and the therapist in question. On the first day we worked from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (5 Hours) in addition to several hours spent on data searches, online investigation. On the second day of the investigation the (CLIENT) stated that her husband will be leaving for Baltimore, Maryland to attend a game with his friends and spend the weekend out of State. We reminded the (CLIENT) that will not follow her husband beyond the area(s) described in the first paragraph and we will escort him out of the area towards his destination. We followed the husband from his residence to his work located in Cranberry, Pennsylvania, then from his work. towards Baltimore, Maryland the surveillance was discontinued before Somerset, Pennsylvania. On the second day we worked from 4:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (8 Hours). On Wednesday, July 27, 2022, We were contacted by the (CLIENT) after we invested 13 Hours of surveillance and several hours on data searches, and online investigation The (CLIENT) stated that her husband is not seeing anyone and she would like to terminate the investigation using the Cancellation Clause in the retainer agreement. We mentioned to the (CLIENT) that the Cancellation Clause applies to the initial stage of the investigation and for any future scheduled surveillance(s). We use our discretion when helping client(s) with couple hours during the course of an investigation yet we are not obligated to do so. All of our work and service(s) provided are billable regardless of the outcome of the investigation as listed in the Disclaimer Clause in the retainer agreement. Surprisingly and for being a Contract Attorney the (CLIENT) did not know how to read, understand a simple contract, or invoice(s). We deducted $2,927.73 to cover our hours and expenses from the retainer amount and refunded $467.27 in a form of a check (Check number ***). The check was mailed out on Friday, July 29, 2022 to **** ******* ***** ************ ************ *****. Due to the (CLIENT) unfounded claims, misleading, inaccurate statements, and her attempt to damage Alabaster Investigation image and reputation we involved our legal counsel in the case for further recommendation and possible legal action against the (CLIENT).

  Based on the (CLIENT), (REVIEWER) false, inaccurate, and misleading statements and Alabaster Investigations response(s) mentioned previously, The (CLIENT),(REVIEWER) clearly violated the BBB TERMS OF USE section 5.USER SUBMISSIONS which states the following;All User Content that you post is accurate, complete, and true in all respects; Your use and submission of the User Content does not violate this Agreement and will not cause injury to any person or entity; Submit any User Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of anothers privacy, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable; Submit any User Content that is false, fraudulent, or misleading; I would advise the BBB to investigate the matter further before publication and to take the proper action(s) based on such violation(s) committed by the (CLIENT), (REVIEWER).
