      Isaly Psychological Services incorrectly billed me and Highmark insurance for services. They have begrudgingly refunded the balance some services but not all. They are very inconsistent with their billing practices.

      The client did not provide up to date insurance at time of service.  Once provided, claims were processed through our electronic system connecting directly to clients insurance company.  We cannot control the speed to which insurance companies process claims.  We spoke with client's wife repeatedly to update her on status.  When claims were processed by insurance company, and funds were received by our company (which also happen electronically directly from insurer) refunds of any balances due to client were processed as each date of service was processed. Client's wife was kept abreast of these claims.  We did not "begrudgingly" make refunds but could only proffer them once the correct insurance was processed and any payment on account received.  All refunds for insurance payments received were refunded to client timely and currently client has a balance due to Isaly Counseling.

      Attached is client's intake paperwork which demonstrates a different insurance and includes an attestation that it is client's responsibility to provide accurate insurance information and that if any claims are denied in whole or in part that client is responsible for payment.
