    Attempted to cancel a reservation with South Hills Motel in ********** **. On Clariton Blvd. within the designated cancelation window. When I contacted the hotel, the representative was extremely rude and borderline aggressive on the phone and told me I was unable to cancel through the hotel itself and that I would have to cancel in the same manner I made the reservation which would be online. When I explained I did not book online, the representative became increasingly irate and began yelling over the phone. He further threatened that the hotel was going to charge my account if I did not cancel in time which is precisely why I was calling in the first place. When asked for his name, as I found this treatment unacceptable, he merely spelled the hotel name (South Hills Motel) refusing to give his own name. As a senior, I am uncomfortable in booking online and was at a loss on how to cancel this reservation. With the assistance of my adult children I was able to eventually cancel this reservation through a third party. After hours wasted time by my family and undue stress, the cancelation was processed. Horrible customer service. Do not recommend this **********************.
