The plumber who came was nice not anything against him but the price of extending pipes over a wall a job of 1 to two hours at ************************************************************************************************************************* the invoice for a consumer to make a sound decision. I got the same done at ********************** 300 . Now that is reasonable. I hope companies change and work to help the community while making fair commissions. I can understand the price if it is an emergency only.

I initially contacted the company to repair an issue with a rental property on 9/2/24and stated project would be worked on an completed that week, 3-5 days of work. They came out 9/3/2024 and started the project after i submitted half the total cost $5,175.36 9/3/2024 they contacted me after showing up to the project and quoted me an additional issue to address and collected an additional $2,500 - half the cost of the add-on problem. They re-assured me they would never leave the project being 'not functional'. I had to contact them 1 week later after as they never returned to the project after day one. They never called saying they were not coming back the next day (as they stated this would be a back to back project completion until completed). At this time, I also complained that they did not contact me to say they were going to be delaying the project for any reason. They returned to the project the next day after I called to complain of incomplete work.It has now been 2 weeks with only presenting 2 days for work. Project is not complete. Tenant cannot complete laundry at facility still. Additionally, after the second day they worked, left the utility lights on and tracked mud and loose dirt/debris up the basement steps and throughout the tenant's main floor. Tenant is now expending extra funds to source laundry and was inconvenienced to clean up after the crew's second day.

CALL ANYONE ELSE!!!If I could rate zero stars, I would!! May 2023, I was out of town and we had a water leak behind the wall that was running into our finished basement. My wife called Mr Rooter in Pittsburgh; they advertise heavily on 93.7 radio and she thought of them first. Bottom line, they had to cut into the drywall (about 6 feet), replace one ball valve and about six feet of copper pipe with PEX. They also replaced the valve at the hose drop outside. Total bill was $2101.30! The job took one man about four hours and there is no more than $100 of materials! It is true that they shared the pricing with her before going forward, but I believe it was very opportunistic. There was a leak, they were there and she needed it fixed. The bill included $380 for “extensive diagnostic service, $489 to install a $40 hose faucet, $200 to install a $20 1/2 inch ball valve and get this, there were 3 separate line items, each detailing 2 feet of PEX installed for $344 each! That is a total of over $1000 to install one straight 6 foot section of PEX! You can’t make this stuff up! Once I returned home I have had two separate plumbers that I know look at this job and both said that this would have been a $400 job had they completed it. I called and complained and they refunded the $380 for “extensive diagnostics”. In my opinion, this was still way overpriced. Not sure if $500 to install a valve or $1000 for 6 feet of PEX is worse. Lesson learned, I have their info available for my wife should she need them when I am out of town. Buyer beware, use Mr Rooter at your own risk! Lastly, I am a big fan of *** **** who advertises for them on 93.7, The Fan radio in Pittsburgh, I wish he could see this bill!!

DON’T USE THIS COMPANY! I used Mr Rooter to install a storm water drain in my yard. I would NEVER use this company again. On top of being totally unreliable (never knew if and/or when they were going to show up), when they finally did do the work, they damaged my retaining wall and didn’t tell me about it when it happened. When I discovered the damage after they were gone, I called and spoke with their excavation manager. He was scheduled to come out to inspect the damage, but never showed up! So, I am now stuck with a damaged retaining wall and, I guess, deciding whether to spend more money to hire an attorney to sue to try to recover my damages.
