    Buyer beware. They grossly overcharged for service without any price transparency. Would not recommend using this business.

    ******************, property manager for ******************, contacted us to repair a water service at **********************************************************. On January 11th 2 men spent most of the day trying to figure out where the leak was, calling the water company to make sure the leak was Mr. ******** responsibility and not theirs, because the water was coming up out of the ground in multiple locations. A spot repair wasnt feasible because we were not able to locate exactly where the water leak was located. The water service was very close to the gas service so we recommended re routing the water service to avoid possible damage to the gas service. We talked and explained this to ****************** and was told do what you had to do, because he had a tenant and the water company was threatening to shut off the water to the property. The work was promptly done and completed on January 13th, we had a crew of 5 on site the that day with an excavator & dump truck on January 12th and a 2 man crew on the 13th to clean up the area. The cost of $6,500.00 isnt unreasonable for the scope of the work done. An invoice was sent to ****************** for $6,500.00. ****************** sent us a check dated February 12th for $65.00. We repeatedly tried to call ****************** to see what that check was about and he wouldnt take our calls. We googled 2215 property and saw that it was for sale and under contract for $120,000.00, so we filed a Mechanics Lien, to get payment for the water service replacement. That is when ****************** decided to file a complaint against us.We didnt have a contract because this was an emergency repair and ****************** didnt request a estimate, he just wanted the work done. We believe ****************** never had any intention of paying for the water service line and was hoping to sell the property before we found out. We feel the complaint is bogus and hope that you see this complaint for what it is, ****************** was hoping to get over on us and got angry that the sale of this property was held up and he is being forced to pay for the work that was done on the property.We are happy to give estimates, but the customer needs to ask for one. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANY LOCAL BUSINESSES WORKING FOR ***************************** OR RIVENDELL CAPITAL
