Yesterday, Pittsburgh Spray Equipment Company had a sale on 5-gallon pails of Evaporust for $24.51 each. I ordered four 5 gallon pails and found a 5% discount code online, making my total $112.02 with tax and shipping. Shortly after placing the order and verifying everything went through, I decided to buy more while they were still available at that price so placed another order but could not use the same discount code twice so it cost slightly higher than the previous order but was still a good deal., Unfortunately though this morning I received a call from them saying both orders are being cancelled due to product unavailability despite checking their website immediately while on the phone with them and seeing its actually in stock albeit now offered at an even higher price than yesterday. When inquiring about some type of credit towards future purchase if/when back in stock so I could purchase it at the originally advertised price they told me that the price I paid was for 1 gallon not 5. A copy of the ad is attached below and it clearly shows said item priced as such for 5 gallons (not just one gallon). I was told there is nothing they can do to honor original sale price regardless because the listing was for 1 gallon not 5 gallons and they are not sure when or if they will get it back in stock. I asked to speak to a manager or someone higher up but was never put through to one.

If you have something listed a certain price you should honor that listed price and not cancel your customers orders and relist the item at a higher price….

In your previous message you reported that they would be sent out at no charge but before I was was aware of this response on the BBB website I had received a phone call earlier today from someone within your company stating that they would honor the sale price but I would have to pay the invoice that was being sent to me via email.
I just now discovered this response in the BBB website where you mention that they will be sent out at no charge so was I not supposed to pay that invoice?
Please advise me as to what I am supposed to do here.

    Regards,
