      We purchased a house that had a system mediated by them prior to our ownership. The house read high on inspection. We did purchase the home. After some research, we found out they did not install a system according to industry standards. When we called them, they outright told us we do not know what we are talking about and would not come out to reassess the situation. They were very rude and hung up on us.

      We talked to the wife and husband on a conference call, she stated she was a nurse and we installed the system wrong. When we installed the system the owner did not want the system coming out by the back door so we had to dig a trench to bring it up along the side of the house, on the inside the footer came out too far so we had to put a pipe into the block wall to draw more radon out of the house, which is acceptable for radon standards. We give everyone 90 days to retest the radon system, this was installed 5/25/2023, if not the warranty is voided. I had talked to the DEP about customers not retesting their radon systems so I was told to put a time limit on it. I can not have customers calling a year later. I explained all this to them. We did offer to come up and look at the system and she responded F___ You. It seems like people can not talk with respect anymore, no-one should talk to people like that . When she used the F word it was time to end the conversation. We knew where it was going and hung up. We were willing to go up and go over the system with them, fill in some cracks and use a stronger fan , but once someone talks to you like that there was no way we could step foot into their home.
