    Buy Box, LLC ordered a dye test to be performed on a property we purchased in December of 2023. The dye test was completed by ******************* and should have never passed. Due to both the rain water and sewer main line going into the same outlet, significant damage occurred in the home resulting in numerous repairs and replacement of goods needed in excess of $60,000. Replacement of the main drain that cracked under pressure was $5,425.00

    We are sorry to hear about the unexpected issues with your new home. We would like to clarify our role in the transaction concerning the property at *****************


    BuyBox, LLC was initially interested in purchasing the property and, as part of consideration in doing so, we ordered a dye test from a reputable service provider, *********************************** in March 2023. The results of the dye test indicated no issues at the time of our evaluation, based on the information provided to us by the service provider.


    However, BuyBox, LLC ultimately decided not to proceed with the purchase of the property. We instead referred the opportunity to an investor contact who did decide to purchase the property on 04/28/2023. For additional context around timing, we completed the dye test in March 2023, our investor contact purchased the property on 04/28/2023, and the house was purchased by Ms. ***** on 12/14/2023. It is important to note that in our stepping aside,  we did not ever own this property and we dont have any comment on what might have transpired after we completed the dye inspection and since it was purchased and occupied by Ms. ***** on 12/14/2023.
