    I rented an apartment at *** ********* **. in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania as my son was going to school there for the year and he had moved out on May 20 of 2023. I had requested a walk-through before he left. They denied us said they didn’t have to and now we’re trying to charge me for $250 in damages that they say there’s some sort of something on the wall. They have no pictures. They have no proof they can’t prove it, but yet they would like me to pay for the damages the gentleman Patrick K**** actually told me a walk through at the and of lease is NOT how they do things. so they can charge me for anything..??? and NOT PROVE IT AND IM JUST SUPPOSED TO PAY THEM on their contractors say?? no pictures and no proof of damage. mr. Patrick K****, very rude, told me to pay it, or he will take me to court, and if I was to have my lawyer call him, he would be sure to waste his time that I would have to pay even more than the $250 I’m not sure if this is a legal action that they are allowed to take or not so I am reporting this as manipulating me to give them money that I don’t believe is owed to them and they can’t prove.

    We just received the notice. I don't know why it was addressed to Integra Realty Resources. They occupy space in our building. John C.R. Kelly Realty is the correct Landlord. 


    **** ******** and ********* ******** leased unit *** ******** ****r for one year. They moved without paying the last months rent and left the unit dirty, which we did not charge them. The manager noted that they spilled some type of dye (hair) that damaged the vanity top, vanity door and the floor, which was the $250 charge. We have attached the security deposit disposition. They did submit the balance due. 
    I spoke to the manager (Renee) who said she stopped to do a final walk through but they did not answer the door. The manager also sent them a message and they never responded. 
    I spoke to Patrick who told me he remembered they called. They were very rude to him. 


    We are attaching the move out checklist.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have on;y a few things to respond to. 

    1.  They denied us a walkthrough, they had at first stated they did NOT have to do one, Which I said was ridiculous because you can say anything was wrong so they said they would set it up with my son and then never showed the day of the appointment.

    2. Mr K**** speaks of rudeness but I do believe it was him who said to me." Go ahead and call your lawyer, I can talk to him and waste more of your money and you will still have to pay, because that's how it is, go ahead I dont mind talking to him for a few hours.) which can only lead you to believe how the entire staff would act, and if I was rude it was because I was demanding a walkthrough.

    3. I  did pay them their monies, NOT because I felt MY SON DID anything wrong but because I not longer want these people in my life, I have wasted enough time and energy on such a company.

    4. The reason for this complaint is to make you aware of the way this company is doing business. 

     

     

    I will no longer answer any type of correspondence regarding this matter as Kelly Realty will continue to say we are wrong because they are a LARGE REALTY company in that area and handle many different properties and we were nothing but an apartment #,
