  I purchased a resume revision on 9/22/23. I was matched with *******, who sent me a PDF with resume templates to choose from. I selected one and emailed it back to ******* along with my resume that needed revision and editing. A few hours later, ******* emailed me a rough draft of the resume she created for me. She copy and pasted the resume I provided to her into a template from Canva so I proceeded to ask for a refund. I paid $147.00. I was asked why I wanted a refund so I stated that I could have copy and pasted the same resume onto a Canva template myself. She stated she would forward the request to the finance department and should expect the refund within 7 to 10 business days. After 2 weeks, I followed up via chat on their website. ****** stated he would escalate the request to the finance department and was told he would reach out to me when they replied to him. I never received a response. I followed up on November 24th and ****** said he would have to ask the finance department which was closed due to the holiday (which I expected so I wasn't upset) however I called my credit card company to open a dispute. Today, December 1st, 2023, I went to ResumeLord's website and spoke via chat with ****** again. He stated the refund was processed on Monday, November, 27th, 2023. I asked why it took 2.5 months, 3 inquires and a credit card dispute for the refund to be processed. He said the finance dept informed him that there was an error on the merchant side. I asked if he could tell me why my resume was copy/paste onto a Canva template to which he stated it was not a Canva design so I provided the proof that it was. He then said his experts "wasted their time" on creating my resume and that I don't know what content means. This company is unprofessional and is scamming tons of people. I'm not sure how they're even in business.

  June 6,2023, I purchased the services of resume preparation and a Linkedin set up from "Resume Lord" Today's date is June 15, 2023, I've received maybe 5 drafts of the resume that still has errors despite my advisement of requested changes. On Monday June 12, 2023, I texted to ask how much longer I would have to wait for my paid service to be completed... I received no answer until Wednesday June 14,2023. The night of 6/14/23 I requested to cancel the Linkedin set up because the resume still had errors and was still not ready. I felt I'd waited long enough time for the resume, at the least. I was feeling frustrated and requested to cancel the Linkedin set up. I was anxious to be done with trying to complete the business transaction of having my resume prepared by this business. I was asked to accept a voucher as my refund, I declined explaining that a voucher locks me into doing another business transaction with this business, and I didn't want that at all. After my 3rd. time asking for a refund for the service I never received (Linkedin Set Up) this business told me it would cause them complications to refund my money and asked that I consider the difficulties of their situation. Stunned and angry at this point I asked that the completed (still with errors) resume be emailed to me. Today's date is June 15,2023 I have not received the completed resume as yet. This company took it's time to create a resume that still after 4 or 5 drafts contained errors and refused to give my a refund for the work the never got to / I finally canceled on June 14,2023 I paid $129.00 for a resume that has errors and $99.00 for a Linkedin set up that never happened and have been refused my refund.
