      Scam. My daughter drove 5 hours to ********* for what she thought was a rental from this place and there was no rental and no contact when she tried to reach them. They say you will get your code upon check in time but that is a lie. They take your money. They finally responded to me not my daughter saying there was a discrepancy in their system as to why this happened and they will refund but they do not. I have reached out to the fraud department at the ************* to investigate and handle. This is 100% a scam.

      Robbed of 150$ incidentals charge! Unlike others I actually stayed in the place and it was nice, however like others the unprofessional and scammer mentality of this company is true to form. Followed directions as I always do just after booking sent my ID with no reply it was received so I was like ok, part of the process. Arrived day of from 3.5 hours away no email with code to get in at the time that was stated so had to once again contact them, which they said they needed my ID. So I resent the original email with the photo of my ID and made sure to point out I already sent it when originally requested. Got into apt about 30 mins late, due to no fault of my own. Was immediately charged a $150 "incidentals" charge to my card which I could see nowhere in the fine print of the original agreement was going to happen. Immediately contacted them questioning the charge and they stated it would be returned upon check out. So thought okay I'll trust them. I'll be honest unlike luxe pgh the apartment was nice and perfect for what I needed. Stayed for one night, I treaded very lightly on the apt, the only way you would know we were there was the two towels we used and the unmade bed. I left a ten dollar tip on the counter for the cleaning person and removed all the garbage of ours and took it with us to dispose of on our own. No return of the 150$ by the next morning. Contacted them the next day asked for the 150$ to be returned or a reason why it wasn't, no response to text or email. Have contacted via both text and email asking the same question probably 15 times and this was 2 weeks ago now, no response no return of the money. This company is in various different ways an unprofessional group of scammers. I'll get my 150$ back from my credit card company eventually but it is a huge pain to dispute a charge in and of itself so s**** luxe pgh, they SUCK! Zero stars if I could, I hate scammers!

      Do not book with this company. I booked through their website directly, and after paying, they provided the address and information minus the door code. After reaching out multiple times through email, phone, and text, they would not respond. When we arrived at the location, the property did not look updated (like the photos), and it appeared someone was living there. They have yet to respond to any of my requests and I am now disputing the charges through my credit card. Save yourself the headache and do not book this SCAM!

      DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.......THIS IS A SCAM!!! We rented Luxe Mt. Washington Home with Free Parking ...only to find a broken down, beat up house in a dangerous section of town......the company ghosted us when we tried to call and text them when we arrived...we walked up to the porch and looked in the window, only to find clothes and dishes laying everywhere...paneling was ripped off the walls...looked like a drug house for sure.....the internet pictures are fake!!!!DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Scam!!! Booked for Oct 9-10th. They charged our card. My wife asked for details on our stay, they asked for her photo ID, which she sent. We have called, emailed and text message with no reply. AVOID this business, its a scam!

      We rented an ****** in July for September. Money came out of my account with no problem. We had 5 people and we all drove over 3 hours from home. I was told that we would get check in instructions 30 minutes prior to 4:00 check in time. That time came and went. I tried calling their number. Of course they were closed but told to text that same number for immediate response. I did that but no response. I tried sending a message through the vrbo booking site. We went to the address of the ***. The place did not look anything like it did on the computer. There was someone else in there. Nobody answered the door. I tried calling, texting and emailing mutiple times. No responses. We gave them until after 7:00 but no one got back to us. We had to rent hotel rooms which cost us over $350 more on top of what I paid. FINALLY at 8:00 I got the instructions for check in. I told them that it was too late and that we had to rent hotel rooms and cancel my reservation. I got a notice that they had to "Cancel my reservation" and I received my $50 VRBO fee. I wanted my reservation money back immediately because it was their fault. No response on that front. I will be going to my bank to fight them for my money. This place is a total scam!!!!

      SCAMMED by *********** and Luxe Pittsburgh. We were scammed by a listing on *********** and *********** last week. A rental was posted by Luxe Pittsburgh at the Elliot Hotel/Mansion in Highland Park, PA. I was charged for the five night stay seven days in advance. Got a confirmation with detailed check in instructions the day before. We arrived and the unit was uninhabitable. It looked like a bomb had gone off inside the unit. Could not reach anyone at Luxe Pittsburgh. Talked with a booking.com service rep who was not helpful at all - claimed no responsibility for the listing and no financial responsibility as well. Hung up on me when I asked to speak to her supervisor. *********** said I had to get refunded by Luxe Pittsburgh who does not respond. Another couple arrived at the Elliot while we were trying to check in. They had booked using VRBO - and turns out it was also for a phantom unit. The listing is still up on the ***********. Was able to get a refund through my credit card company. Reported this to the Pittsburgh police who are actively investigating. We understand we are not the first to be scammed. I have photos of the unit which I can post if BBB can show me how to post them.

      If I could give a 0 star review I most certainly would. I booked my stay for July in April, three months prior, and just before boarding my flight received a notification from Luxe demanding me to switch my hosted location to an entirely different location with no explanation. They just said my original location was no longer available. and this was only within hours of original planned check in. At first I said no and I should have immediately called ****** to get help, however they assured me that the new location was comparable. When we arrived to the alternate location, it was most definitely not comparable. The house was unkept and dirty and obviously no one had been there to get it ready for us prior to our arrival. There were dead flowers on the coffee table in the living room and the house was at 90 degrees because the ** was not on. There were overflowing garbage cans all around the entry of the house. There was lots of damage to the interior of the house. I have photos of all these things. This was obviously a bate and switch. In addition, the house was in a bad area and the price for staying there was way outside of what it should be for the area. We were being charged $200 for the night and the other rentals in the vicinity were around $85 per night. Our original location was supposedly near a tourist location with restaurants etc. and this new location was in a bad area and we didn't feel safe. We immediately left and stayed at a hotel in a nearby town. I immediately contacted ******* and **** and demanded a refund. ******* contacted Luxe and Luxe told them that we were still present on the property which was a complete lie because we were already in **************** staying at a ***********. Because of this lie Air *** refused to refund our money. Luxe completely ghosted me. This is not a trustworthy business. I fully believe it's a scam.

      I reserved a home through this company and received a very short, only couple-sentence confirmation email. The email contained very little information but indicated check-in information would be sent to me 30 minutes before my check-in time. I was charged for the rental, but never received any further information. After several unanswered phone calls, emails, and text messages to the contacts posted on the website, I ultimately could not obtain any additional information, or access the rental and had to dispute the charges through my credit card company.

      I ultimately ended up canceling my reservation with this company. Originally booked directly on their website on June 1st for dates in August. The transaction was immediately taken off my card. During July, l attempted numerous times to contact anyone from this company about check-in details because of the timing of my flights. This was in the form of calling, texting, and emailing the contacts provided on their website. I've only received two responses, one asking what I can be assisted with and another providing a website with my receipt. I've called and texted numerous times, but have simply been ghosted. I'm incredibly disappointed about the additional stress this has put on my trip planning. I understand this is a business, however, their lack of transparency, timeliness, and communication is incredibly questionable to me.
