On 3/28/2025 I took my 2020 Equinox to Swifty Tires for an oil change and tire plug for which I was charged $117.70. On 4/11/2025 my change oil sensor began to light up. I took my car back to Swifty Tires and the owner **** asked that I bring my car back the following morning. On 4/12/2025 I returned with my car, and the female employee told me that she was only told about the tire plug and not the oil change, and I must wait for her husband to return. I then, in fear that I would 1. be charged again and 2. That they would damage to my car, took my car to ********** where my oil change was completed. I then returned to Swifty where the owner told me to allow his worker to do the oil change which I refused, asking for a refund. I was told to F*** OFF by the owner after being denied a refund. The owner then told me to make police report, but I was not getting my money back. It was MY choice to refuse service after the work was not done the first time, which could have damaged my car. When I arrived at ********** my oil was at 4%. I would like refund for the money I spent to have my oil change done twice.

The customer was charged $117 because she did in fact have her tire plugged and her oil change.  My mechanic and I both spoke to her in person and on the phone and we both told her multiple times that her oil was changed.  There is no way her car would have been running without oil for two weeks.  I cant say why her car was indicating 4% oil on 4/11, but her oil was changed on 3/28.

I was sold 2 tires that were dry rotted on 03/21/25, about a week after I realize the cracks within the tread lines on the tire from driving in the rain. When the tires are wet they are more visible. Fast forward 2 -3 weeks later my wires are now showing. I called the shop to explain & ask for better tires in return & the guy agreed to sapping the tires if it only had the dry rot cracks & not the wires showing too. This made absolutely no sense to me because if the tires are dry rotted they are no good to drive on, whether or not the wires are showing. I believe this man also has illegal immigrants working for ******* also believe he was going to try & sell the same dry rotted tire he sold me after taking it back if it had no wires. THATS HIGHWAY ROBBERY.

The tires were not dry rotted or showing wires when he purchased them.  When he came in to purchase tires my mechanic let him know the car needed work done on the front end such as an alignment and tire rods. The customer agreed that the work on the car needed done, but only purchased used tires. Three weeks later he called to return the tires, get his money back, and receive free tires which is not our policy. If you purchase a tire and drive on it we cannot take it back, this is displayed within the shop. Furthermore, I do not have illegal immigrants working for my business. All of my employees are legally documented and allowed to work in the ****

Swifty Tires had installed damaged tires on my car. They deny to replacement or refund.

    Business Response

On May 19, 2023 a gentleman came to our store to buy TWO used tires. Once we did a through check of his vehicles tires we informed him that not only were the Two tires he wanted bad, all FOUR of his tires were not safe an needed replaced. Unfortunately in the size he needed we only had 3 used tires available. We told him we could get FOUR BRAND NEW tires in his size in the very next day which would have been the best option, he did not want to pay for new tires only wanted used..we advised him that the best thing to do is to only buy TWO of the used tires we had available. He insisted on buy all 3, and wanted us to get him a forth. Unfortunately with the used tire business we can not control what size tires we get in an when we get them in. We make sure to explain to all of our customers what’s best for their vehicles. So we sold him the THREE used tires as he requested even though we did not recommend that to him. He told us that he wanted another USED TIRE but like I stated before we can not guarantee if we will get his size in used tires,  but if we did we would have it for him. The next week he came back and unfortunately we still didn’t have his size, 2 days later he came back again complaining, screaming, an yelling even trying to complain to other customers who know that we are a very reputable tires business. I then told him he had to leave because he was cause problems. So in the end we sold him THREE USED TIRES which he NEVER complained about the 3 tires he bought from us. He only complained because we could not get in the fourth used tire for his car which we carefully explained to him from the beginning but he insisted on us doing what he wanted. So we do not understand where the complaint of a bad tire is coming from, because the only bad tire on his car is the one that he had on their that was not from us. This gentleman was getting very aggressive and very unpleasant. We apologize for any inconvenience but we explained from the beginning that what he wanted was not best.
