    My car was towed from my apartment complex due to my Parking sticker not visible in my window on 3/13/23, it must of fall throughout the night. The tow company, Howard’s, monitor cars 3-4 a week at night for parking permits and it is the same tow truck driver. I have been a resident going on 1 year and has had the same car since and I have paid parking pass fee to obtain permit to park within permit areas. I realize the following morning that my car was towed and immediately went to rent office to file a complaint. After getting the run around and trying to hash things out with them, I finally got a chance to contact tow company at about 11am for them to tell me that my new fee was now $450. When I ask for explanation they said because if was over the 12hrs mark. After discussing issue with my neighbor she stated that she only paid $300. And hers was picked up the next day. I believe that there is some discrimination going on with prices and who they choose to over charge. This is not fair and needs to be looked into. Sound like different strokes for different folks.
