    The afternoon of June 16, 2025, I received a bill from Steel Valley Urgent Care with a due date of June 18, 2025. Pay by phone did not work, and while the phone service claimed it texted me an Internet link with the billing portal, the text did not, in fact, contain a ******* other words. Steel Valley Urgent Care sent a bill that was physically and temporally impossible to pay on time.With this in mind, I believe I should not have to pay this bill - Steel Valley's own incompetence and unethical billing practices are the cause of the problem, and it should not pass the **** onto patients.

    The business is lying. I received a bill in the mail with a mailing address for Bill payments as well as a phone number to arrange payments. When I called the phone number, the automatic response sent me a text purporting to provide a link to online payment. I have no reason to believe the bill was doctored, fraudulent, etc. because the amount due was the same as the amount due listed on my insurances site.

    In summary there is no reasonable, plausible way for the business' claim to make sense. It is inventing a story about scammed to distract from the substance of the complaint.

     

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

    I inadvertently neglected to attach the documentation to my response, and have attached it to this email. I further note that the 'statement date' in the document is false, and I only received the statement on 16 June 2025.

    Please advise if this is sufficient.
