I visited PetVet365 in *********** ** to extract a broken nail on the front thumb of my female cat. The top of the nail is well separated from the root of the nail. It was Friday. They showed me how much it would cost. It was expensive as I write below. I felt if I did not do the nail extraction, my cat would be in pain for at least three more days. So, I felt I had no choice but to the nail extraction there. So, I did. The doctor at PetVet365 (she) did 3 view radio-graphs for $510, did ******** CHEM/ELYTES STAT (a blood test) for $350, and the other ones totaling about $1450.00, which I believe is unreasonably expensive for a nail extraction. Would they be absolutely necessary? Wouldn't a single view X-ray be enough? They say usually a single view X-ray is sufficient. Would the blood test be really necessary? Would some of medications be redundant? These questions came up after the visit and remain in my mind. I cannot get rid of the feeling that the clinic overdid and inflated the charge. The remorse remains even months after the visit. The clinic failed to gain the trust of a customer and lost a future relationship. I would not visit this place again.

I took my dog there for an ear infection and he is not one to have his ears messed with. The staff there was so patient with him, they took their time, cleaned his ears out and gave him the meds that he needed. They were up front about prices and gave me options about care and treatment. I was very pleased with his care and will be taking him back as well as my other dog. Highly recommend. Staff was amazing.
