    12/15/23: Had a company Holiday Party in the Zoos Aquarium. ~On 8/15/23: Contract was signed by the renter ~On 9/28/23: Paid deposit of $325 ~On 9/28/23: Contract was signed by the zoo. ~11/3/23: Reserved both animals & was confirmed; never told there could be issues with any animal on their list of animals to choose from. ~On 12/10/23: Paid for 2, 30-minute, Animal Encounters for $125 each ($250 total) ~On 12/15/23: (Event Night) Found out 1 of the Animals was only out a MAX 10 minutes; was never told by the zoo. Found out after reaching out to zoo day after. I reached out because attendees asked where that animal was. ~On 12/19/23: Asked for reimbursement & was refused immediately. Since refused to reimburse on this matter above; I now wish to add an additional issue wanting reimbursed for: ~On 9/6/23 i was confirmed piñatas were allowed as long as we didn't use a stick/objects to hit with. I agreed so proceeded to purchase 3 custom piñatas & everything to put inside. These were going to be THE MAIN FOCAL POINT during this party. ~On 10/18/23 I purchased 3 piñatas totaling $382.62 ~On 11/18/23 I made my 1st purchase of items for the piñatas totaling $540.14 ~On 11/13/23 I made my 2nd purchase of items for Piñatas totaling $147.80 ~On 12/8/23 (12:01am) I was made aware of a potential issue with the piñatas (7 days before event) ~On 12/8/23 (3:11pm) I was told they changed their policy & I could not bring the piñatas anymore. Was told multiple "Departments" were concerned. However, I asked at least 3 Aquarium Staff (since that was building where piñatas would be) and none had an issue with them. I want full reimbursement for the 1 animal; as well as all my costs associated with the piñatas. GRAND TOTAL: $1,195.56

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, I am confused. I was told any discussions should be made through BBB. If I should respond to them outside of here let me know. Otherwise their response on here wasn’t an actual response.
