      The business did not honor their warranty. There is flooring that is raised from its original installed position. Also, the business stated that the flooring was ok to place in front of the fireplace, which we were turning into a gas insert (as discussed with the business). Also, the business stated that the manufacturer of the flooring stated it was ok to do so. My wife and I repeatedly called the owner (Gary), or left messages for the owner to call us back, but to no avail. He did personally take ONE of my calls and stated that he would contact a contractor to have the issue taken care of (05.31.22). Again, to no avail. The purchase date was 11.02.21 and the install date was completed on or about 11.15.21. My wife and I acted in good faith to believe the business, in fact, called the manufacturer of the flooring to discuss the issue in front of the fireplace. I did state that I would pay for replacement of the marble that was previously in front of fireplace; I just wanted to be able to have a business install a gas fireplace insert. The 2 companies in my area would not install the insert because they both stated it was against "fire code". The owner of Color-World did state to me that he would meet my request, but had no one to complete the task at the moment. The following are the dates and times either my wife or I personally called to either speak to the owner (since he sold us the flooring and told us after I asked about a workmanship and product warranty, "you know where to find me.") or left a message to call either one of us back: 02.09.22: 4 mins, 27 secs. 02.28.22: 1:09 pm, 1 min, 14 secs. Stopped at store: 03.12.22, my wife spoke to Gary direct. 05.31.22: 1027 am, 16 mins, 15 secs. Spoke to Gary direct. He stated he didn't have anyone to do the work and would contact a mutually-known contractor that worked at my home before. 05.31.22: 11:26 am 3 mins, 52 secs. 10.10.22: 2:59 pm. I asked associate what current lead time was for install: "2 weeks".
