we attended a seminar in May of 2018 - and we were promised a $35.00 **** gift card. We received a check from the business however it was denied by our bank and we were charged a $12.00 NSF fee. the seminar was very high pressure - and they said they didn't have the gift cards available after the presentation and would mail it to us. I contacted the place the seminar was held, and tried various other numbers and got no response. I realize it's been several years, however I kept hoping something would show up on the internet - and today the address for the awards center did. I would like to receive at least the $12.00 back, and it would be nice to get the $35.00 as well.

    Dear *******************,

We are writing in response to your recent complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau. First and foremost, I want to extend my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience and frustration you experienced during your interaction with The Awards Center. Upon investigating your complaint, I was able to find a record showing that you were supposed to receive a gift voucher in 2018 after you attended a presentation. It was never anyone's intention to disappoint you. Unfortunately the owner of the company passed away a number of years ago, and regrettably things fell through the cracks. When I showed the owner of our company your complaint, he agreed to reimburse you. Please look for a check to your address filed with the BBB. It will be mailed today 2/21/24.

I did receive a check however it's drawn on a bank in another state and I'm a little leery about cashing it.  The last one was returned NSF.  I wish they would have sent a money order - however I'll see if I can find a way to confirm there are funds in this account before I cash it.

Thank you for staying in touch and I'm sorry it took me so long to reply.

We attended a travel club presentation on 9/10/22 and at the end were told we would receive a $50 ****** gift card for attending. We mailed in the required voucher, and a stamped, self addressed envelope the next day, but have not received anything. In reading comments listed by others, this seem to be a common complaint. Since we were told we would be compensated for our time, I am officially requesting the awards redemption voucher center respect that agreement and send us our card. Thanks

She attended a presentation in Arizona on Sept. 10, 2022. She in entitled to $50.00 gift card, or if not available, a $50.00 check. We did receive the required voucher returned by mail. The normal time to process the Gift Card or the $50.00 check and get in mailed is 4 to 6 weeks. Tomorrow a $50.00 check #**** will be mailed to her at the address she provided on the returned voucher. Because of the action we request the Complaint be marked as Satisfied.

My Wife and I attended a presentation stating you would receive 2 free round trip domestic airfare vouchers with 2 nights hotel, $100 of Restaurant cash and a $50 gift card. We attended on 6/3/2022 in Scottsdale, AZ. After the presentation we were asked if interested in purchasing the “package”. Had to be done right there, right now in order to get the “special price”. We declined. The other two couples in attendance denied also. At this point the presenter became very agitated and said to get our vouchers and was rude and unprofessional. We mailed in voucher #2142 on 6/10/2022 for the gift card with a return self address stamped envelope as instructed. Nothing received and it is now 8/9/2022. Restaurant vouchers not received either. Confirmation number ********. Then you must pay a non refundable $50 to access the Airline vouchers. Then you see the “fine print” stating you have pay $199 for each voucher. The Certificate ID is ******-*****. This is a complete SCAM. We are asking for the gift card, our $50 back in the form of a **** or ****** gift card or check, the (4) each $25 restaurant vouchers for our waste of time and gas. They are more than welcome to provide the airline tickets and 2 nights hotel also. Thank you for your assistance.
