    I submitted a request in July for assistance for the following: *** ******* (dispute the balance)******* ************** (Dispute the balance) Assist and obtain general dentistry and cosmetic doctor in one facility and or office facilitate appointment Need alternate doctor for second breast exam aside form the one mentioned I am affiliated via *** and would like to get assistance for an the last two and want to understand why it is a disconnect here

    In May 2014, my company, ******** ************ ****** entered into a 3 year agreement with Health Advocate Solutions to provide an Employee Assistance Program for my staff. In 2017, we again renewed the relationship by paying the annually invoiced bill in May 2017. On May 18, 2020 we received another renewal invoice at which point i immediately responded notifying Health Advocate Solutions that we were terminating our relationship at the end of the term (5/31/2020) as we had duplicate coverage through our current Insurance Carrier. We got a response telling us that we would not be able to terminate as we had not given them a 60 day notice per the agreement we had signed back in 2014. I fully admit that i signed the agreement in 2014 on behalf of my company, but I contend that it seems like a fair and reasonable business practice to give at least a 60 day renewal notice / invoice when you require a 60 day notice to cancel from a client. Looking back, there is no owness in the agreement for Health Advocate Solutions to provide appropriate notice of renewal even after 6 years. They have continued to invoice my company, even though we continue to notify them of our request to cancel. They have provided no benefit or services to us since May 2020. To date, they have turned the situation over to a collection company, which now has sent the situation to a local attorney who is threatening legal action against us if we don't pay for services we requested cancelled over 2 years ago.
