    There was a tremendous amount of pressure put on us to sign a contract and we have only used this timeshare once since owning. We have tried to exchange our location, however, we were never successful in doing so even when we tried to make reservations 6-7 months in advance. We have yet to receive the accommodations and amenities that were promised to us when we purchased this timeshare. We also have medical issues that are a priority financially. We made attempts to reach out to Carriage House directly for a resolution. We were first told they could do nothing for us and wanted to keep us trapped. We were then told that we could write a letter for their board to review. It took them no time to send us a response back, denying us again for any sort of termination of our ownership. We need assistance in getting this matter resolved

    When we first purchased, we were told a lot about being able to travel wherever we wanted and being able to use amenities at the sister resort. Ás it turned out we could not book when and where we wanted so we settled for second and third choices. The resort also needs major renovations. With what I’ve been paying in maintenance fees over the years, I would have expected much more to be done. In addition to this, since purchasing this timeshare my life has altered. The co-owner has passed away, and ownership is just not something I can contend with any longer being on a fixed income. Between my health, finances, and the lackluster vacations I have received, I am no longer able or interested in keeping this timeshare. I expressed this to the board of directors and got a very dismissive response, telling me to sell my timeshare. I have no one interested in even taking this for free, let alone trying to find someone to sell it to.
