      System update scheduled for may 1st. Actual update started may 26th for some account holders and may 28th for myself. The only notification of this after 1 email was through social media post. This caused all online banking and bill pay to be unavailable until may 3rd. During this period direct deposits, including my VA disability and any payments could not be completed causing numerous account holders to suffer late fees as well as overdraft fees from tri county area credit union. Because of this I am now over 1000$ overdrawn due to late charges, returned payment fees and tri county's overdraft fees. I am seeking to have these fees refunded as well as hold Tri County Area Federal Credit Union responsible.

      ****************** had reached out directly to the credit union via email on 5/9, and one of our Branch Managers had communicated with him and provided the necessary fees refunded to him.  He was not negative over $1000, he was only negative $198.68.  I also had contacted him via telephone on 5/9 (we talked in length) and deeply apologized for any inconvenience he may have been caused.  I did review with him that many mailers (post card, mailer, emails) went out to him, in addition to the information provided on our website and mobile app of the upcoming upgrade beginning at 8 weeks prior to 5/1/23 (when we were closed for the day for the upgrade).  We take pride in our service to our members so we will continue to do our best to try to assist them in helping them understand the new system.
