    On April 12 2022 I entered into a contract with JM Weatherization for the install of insulation in my attic and my basement. The quote came to 3,758 total. John M**************** requested we pay him $250 that day as a down payment. So I sent him the money via *****. On 4/15 he texted me and said that he was placing our insulation order this afternoon, and wanted to confirm that everything was still on and I said yes. Then he asked for $1000 more, and with some hesitation I sent that amount to him via ***** as well. On 4/26 I confirmed our 5/3 appointment to have our insulation installed and his response as, "Absolutely." He offered earlier dates, but we could were not available. So we kept our original date for the. We had an issue at our house on 5/2 that was going to prevent us from getting insulation in our basement and was going to cancel that install, but the issue was fixed and we didn't need to cancel our appt and he responded, "No problem at all thanks for the heads up." The day of the install I texted him to see what time he would be at the house to do the job. His response was, "Will 9:15/9:30." At 9:28 am same day he still wasn't there so I messaged to see if he was close then he called. He said he was in a car accident and wanted to come the next day. This went on for the next few days. Finally on Thursday I told him we no longer wanted to move forward and I wanted my money back needless to say I never got my money back! I contacted Venmo and they can't help me, so I'm coming here to see what you can do for me. His number is ************ John M************. I have the invoice and pics of a job that wasn't done. Thank you.
